Baller Boot Camp I have been watching you for at least a year now and I honestly think this video is definitely one of your best if the not the best. From the content to the players I really think you did a superb job on this video and I would love to see more videos with those kids. Thanks for the great content!

I'm 14 and I have a thumb flick on my off hand. I don't have enough prowler to shoot with one hand. Is there anything that I'd be able to do to improve it?
@harpauldagreat
7 жыл бұрын
Aldijana Boskovic Yes there is. When you're shooting tuck a penny or dime in between the web of your off hands thumb and forefinger. Then when you're shooting slowly up close, keep the grip on the coin so it won't fall. Whenever you hear the noise of it falling, you know you flicked your thumb, so you can make yourself accountable by push-ups, suicides, etc.

Aldijana Boskovic I was in same position a year and a half ago, it's all practice. One key thing is have a one motion shot. Try this stationary shooting drill which really helped me: Tap your right thigh (if right handed) three times, and every time you tap your thigh, you go down a little, once you've done 3 taps on your thigh, release into your shot. Also try form shooting. Before play or practicing, stand 2-3 feet away from the basket, and shoot the ball, try to put emphasis on your shooting hand. When I did this drill, I used to put an elastic band around my left hand, which wrapped over my left thumb, this didn't allow me to flick my thumb out. Hope this helped

Aldijana Boskovic To get power make sure u shoot the ball before the peak of your jump. As soon as ur legs have reached the lowest point ur arms should start to move the ball up and into ur shot. I struggled for power before as well and this helped me tremendously. Just focus on this everytime u shoot and u will become much better.
