Any person whose hormones are primarily dominated by estrogen and progesterone to suddenly be altered completely to be driven by testosterone- that’s not what this persons natural state is. So it’s going against the body’s nature. That will cause a lot of depression and anxiety and anger etc etc. Page can be free to do it, but hormones have a GIANT affect on everything we are. You can’t just change it and expect to be ok.

can you provide any source on that? i've been on testosterone for 6+ years and i would say the experience has been massively positive for me. no sudden, mysterious depression, anxiety, or anger, just feeling comfortable in my body, and a bit more acne than i had before. if trans people who take testosterone suddenly got depressed/suddenly changed personalities or whatever, you'd think we'd notice, but since there's such a insanely low regret rate among trans people who transition medically, i've seen about 99% people talking about how much better going on testosterone made them feel (myself included). you're clearly talking out of your ass

@@Bamgeutcutiepie have you tried doing research into the regret rates among trans people? or any research at all? though how "regret" is defined, and how "transition" is defined varies between studies, the "regret" rate from one amsterdam study including almost 7,000 people over 43 years was less than 1%. how am i not telling the truth? not only do i have direct experience with transition, and have met probably 100s of trans people in my life, but i've also read the research, which again, does not support anything you're saying about testosterone causing depression. what do you think hormones actually do to the body? when a trans person takes hormones, they are essentially going through a second puberty, that's it. people assigned female at birth naturally produce testosterone already, adding more of it isn't some kind of poison, it's a naturally occurring hormone that is present nearly everyone, unless they have some kind of condition that causes them not to produce it. unless that's true of you, you have testosterone and estrogen in your body right now. the point is that you said "hormones have a GIANT affect on everything we are. You can’t just change it and expect to be ok." and i know that isn't true based on my experience, and the experience of the dozens and dozens of trans people i've talked to, been friends with, known, seen talking about their experiences, etc. it's that simple. i take testosterone, and i'm doing just fine.

Gender dysphoria does not disappear after transition, it gets easier, people can live, because without transition trans people generally take their own lives. Based on research it takes usually only bottom surgery to entirely eliminate gender dysphoria, we have been seeing this pattern repeatedly. This is why these people need to transition before pubert, because it increases dysphoria by damaging their body even more due to the wrong phormones flooding in. It has very little to do with happiness per se, it is not some freaking vanity, it is about rooting themselves into their own body, which takes time. This is why transition is a gradual process where the body changes constantly, it takes sometimes 7 years before the real changes can be more evident and have a bigger impact on dysphoria. It is not like one day they take cross sex hormones and next day everything is okay, lol, all of this is a process of integration and healing. When you are sick, you dont change the mind, you change the body that affects the mind.

Honestly! Gender Dysmorphia is a mental problem that needs psychological! therapy, Also by encouraging this it makes some people believe that being your biological sex/gender means you have to follow the stereotypes society makes, Instead of going under the knife they should learn to accept and embrace than Man or Woman they were meant to be, instead thinking you have to go along with Gender Stereotypes muster up the courage to break those stereotypes like when Girls started to play football or when men started to enter baking contests, They can abolish stereotypes without! self mutilation or removing body parts
