there is a small percent of early adopters of innovation , then a higher % middle adopters , the late adopters and the non adopters . The early adopters will buy a self driving car and make money with it as they sleep or when not needed . Then they Wake up in the morning and there is their self driving car that just worked all night for them , charged up and ready to go . Im always confused when I see so many big ole pickup trucks driving around Empty .

I personally think that robotaxi network is going to be only one source of income after FSD surpasses human ability to drive. I would guess it's the gargo fleet and transportation which can become fully automatic 24/7 network operated pretty much by AI. And FSD doesn't stop there. AI traffic will get much faster when it can connect to other cars and predict intersections without the need of traffic lights or slowing down when driving through intersections. Also transportation logistics could be multilateral and fully automatic. There's still so much to come. This is just a stoneage.

Elon speaks in incomprehensible tongues. Sometimes it's DOJO chips that are important. Sometimes it's 100,000 Nvidia chips that need to be bought. Sometimes everything is different again. Who can see through this?

These ideas that the EV’s are the answer to everything is a fools erron !! Unless there is a new way of generating electricity is found, there just won’t be enough electricity generated to power all these new EV’s. AI also is all based on electricity so the need for more electrical power will out pase the generators!,

No; but….he’s not been a positive. With SpaceX and Tesla he’s transformed the planet for the better; but him using his Tesla shares to back his extreme right political activities means that if I buy a Tesla I’m supporting that, and for the first time, he’s starting to push me away because of that; and I don’t think that’s clicked with him.

My electric bill has quadrupled. The only way I would buy an electric car would be if it was cheaper than a gas car and was free to charge it I don't think the grid can handle so many electric cars.

You have a house you set up solar with a Tesla Powerwall and all your electicicity to charge is free as well as running your A/c or heating. Overnight charging even without the Powerwall is a fraction of the cost of gas. Utility companies have factored in EV demands and so far no outages from EV demand in fact the opposite. You think everyone believes your electricity bill has quadrupled. Why do all these fake FUD commentators add 4 numbers to the end of the their log in names.
@recliningbuddha

An increase in demand initially lead to an increase in price, but when the supply side catches up, the price drops to lower than ever. My Octopus electricity bill is about to go up by about 10% in October, after being stable for more than a year. Since when has your bill quadrupled, and where do you live? The UK has the highest bills in Europe. The grid will manage just fine. Many BEV owners can charge off their own solar panels for free (after paying off the installation costs in 5-10 years).

The grid can handle EV charging easily, because most EV's are charged in the middle of the night when electricity is abundant and cheap. What causes black outs and brownouts are heating and cooling our houses, especially airconditioning during peak hours in the middle of summer. Actually EV's can be part of the solution when EV's are plugged in to smart chargers and send back a little bit of their stored energy back into the grid during peak demand in the late afternoon, EV owners get paid big bucks for that energy, and get it charged back during the night when there is an abundance of cheap energy. Power company happy, because a blackout is prevented, EV owner happy, because he got paid a bunch.

EVs now have EV tyres. Tyre companies keep up with the current market. EVs don´t need to use the brake to stop, regenerative braking, look it up and learn.
