The final track from Elton John's 1984 album "Breaking Hearts." This album was a return to the familiar formula that worked well with the previous album "Too Low for Zero." The basic Elton John band consisting of Davey Johnstone, Dee Murray & Nigel Olsson, and lyrics by Bernie Taupin. The lyrics seem to come out of another rough time in Taupin's life, almost all the songs having to do with breaking up and the hurt and pain that women cause in one's life. But unlike the 1976 album with a similar theme "Blue Moves," Elton managed to write mostly upbeat and poppy rock tunes with this batch of depressing lyrics. Sadly this became the last album that this band did together. This track, a fitting upbeat tribute to the sad songs this album is full of, was also a successful single.
