I agree with a comment below recommending you react to Elvis' LIVE performance of "The Wonder of You"--it's one of his most beautiful ballads though many have yet to discover it!

He had a natural talent, a gift from God, it can't be taught it has to be felt. Elvis was one with the music, his voice was his instrument and he felt every word he sang. There was, is and never will be anyone like Elvis.

How to sing like this is NOT teachable. He never paid for a music lesson is his LIFE!!! It was a God given talent. He often wandered why he was the CHOSEN one to have ALL this!!!! And the world put him on SUCH A HIGH PEDESTAL.

At the end when he says "sing it Myrna" he was referring to his backup singer Myrna Smith of The Sweet Inspirations. Myrna is Whitney Houston's cousin and had a personal relationship with Elvis, even lived at his home and went on vacations with him. Check out Elvis & The Black Community-The Echo Will Never Die and you'll see her. She's the one with the braids.

He wanted to date her. She didn’t want to. Ended up marrying his bodyguard Jerry.

@@kckirkify Myrna said she loved him and that she knew he loved her, but that she was a one man woman who didn't share her man with other women and that Elvis wasn't a one woman man. Plus she saw him self destruct and it hurt her. She didn't want to go through with the emotional stress.
@kckirkify

@@mikem957 Thank you for that. I’d read it in Linda Thompson’s book a little while back but couldn’t remember the details. I struggle with a brain injury and it’s hard to recall details of things. Or if I even ate yes lol. Maybe I shouldn’t comment. But thank you for clearing that up for me. 😊
