I don't think you people understand that these legendary in their own right singers are NOT trying to compete with Elvis for God's sake the are paying homage to the KING! They understand, love, respect and honor the man, myth and Legend that is Elvis! If a 24 yr old young man can wear a Moonie suit and respectfully pay homage to the King of R&R I respect the sh*t out of that! There are too few young people who even knew who he was let alone are talented enough to sing his song's with talent and respect!

I love Keith Urban, I mean I love the man. So much so I have KU tattooed on me. But not even my beloved Keith can compete with Elvis. There was something about Elvis that the moment he walked into a room, it was him. He was gorgeous and that voice. He was truly sent from the heavens. Too bad he didn’t know it. He was surreal. No one, not even the Beatles, or my favorite Keith, can come close to whatever he had. It’s extraordinary.

I Respect anyone who pays homage to the King. But I do like to add that the Jam Session with all this Singer's going up going down didn't have the Rock & Roll & Passion behind it like how Elvis Rocked the Damn place. And all those Voices and they still can't match Elvis's powerful Voice, which Show's you the pure natural talent & powerful Voice he was born with, God given never trained like all these Singers now who still suck and can't Sing Live. You see when they have 5-8 Singers Singing and not as fast or full as Elvis Singing by Himself. Elvis alone Live on that stage on 68 comeback special Nobody today can keep up with him. Nobody vocally it's been proven as they have done the If I Can Dream or How Great Thou Art with Carrie Underwood who blows her voice out Everytime she Sings it LOL. Which Shows you how Elvis was out of this World and would Sing that 2-3 times a Night in Vegas and she and others trained Singers and blow there voice out all the time. Elvis sang that thing in Opera Range 2 times a Night never lost his Voice and all these Singers are trained LOL and just look at the Raw Power he still had Singing this and Hurt at his Last Concert when the Man was so sick & overworked and should if been in Bed resting fir a Good 1 Year off. Which he was gonna do I wish he fud it before that last Concert cuz he was gonna do it after the Next Concert and take off 1978 to get Healthy. It sucks Man life ain't Fair Man as the King should still be out Singing these Clowns today. Even the Celine Dion Duet they Did a few years back they have to lower Elvis vocals and cut some out cuz she can't reach or keep up. Enough said Music Died the Day the King Elvis Died. But we have his almost 750 Songs to keep him alive 42 years Later. No Artist has had this effect this many Year's and Decades after there Death.

I love the music but god damn that pisses me off that Keith Urban owns Waylons Telecaster. Thats the one hes playing in this video. Im an oldschool musician and was raised on Willie & Waylon. If the family couldnt see fit to keep it, then it should be in a museum so everyone can see it. Its a peice of outlaw country history and was Waylons pride & joy. Im sorry but it dont belong in the hands of an aussie. Waylon wouldnt be happy! Nicole Kidman just outbid everybody so no one could buy it but her. WTF does she know about Waylon or the whole "Outlaw movement" of the late 70's

They did try at the end of the show, but the result was a bit so-so. Malone probably came off best though.

The others are very good, but Elvis is the GOAT! He just rocks this song and oozes charisma! We still love his music here in South Africa.

No soul, no grit. Pale interpretation. Elvis was singing his with his soul. Post is a culture vulture.

This song went from being such a simple thing to becoming a force with a life of it's own under Elvis. You can just see the raw power growing and growing. Its really quite a feat. Its almost like the song can't be stopped. It's a shame the 2019 NBC tribute didn't show more of Elvis. As such the tribute show was a nice expensive try that missed explaining the importance of the original show and why it's so powerful. I mean really...Groban singing It's Now or Never? I could go on...

Considering the tech in 68, listening to this and its just like nitro. Blows anything away, then, now, ever. EP was a one off.

Keith Urban version way too slow trying to be different doesn't always work ... if you're gonna do it do it like Elvis because I'd rather listen to the original 👍

When a band/artist tries to replicate another like this, let us not forget that it is a TRIBUTE, sort of a bow of respect...not unlike a military member salutes the flag. Or, the feeling we get when we stand for the national anthem. It's a beautiful thing...

Glad to see somebody recognize a certain leather wrap made famous by Waylon. Certain guitars need no introduction....Lucille for BB King...Trigger for Willie Nelson...Cigar Box for Bo Didley...Pink Paisley of James Burton

Here's an idea....JUST SHOW THE ORIGANAL 68 SPECIAL WITH ELVIS!! Have stars comment on his performance in between songs. Elvis eats these guys lunch on this song. They may all be good in there own right, but no one can hold a candle to Elvis singing. It is very obvious in this video. Never have been a fan of the tribute shows. Especially Elvis. Never watched the special, and this is the only video I've watched of the show. I get it. The singers want to perform the song in there own way. (In this case slowing down the song, and making it awful) they butchered this Imo. Next maybe they will let singers butcher every song for the aloha concert. These guys stunk and they need to stick with the stuff that made them famous. That is all. Lol
