There is a terrific hike to The HOllywood sign here: Maybe you've been up there on your past trip but I highly recommend it for the views. Just leave early or it gets too hot. kzitem.info/news/bejne/tWqd0H99sWlolo4 Cool!

Since the trails have re-opened and the Dodgers aren't playing this year, the hiking is great and not super crowded.

Seeing Dodger Stadium reminds me of when the Olympics where in L.A. in 1984. My sister and I had baseball tickets and if my memory is right we saw Japan play Canada. Someone thought it would be a good idea to have square dancing on the field of Dodger Stadium. My late Mom and Dad did square dancing in Southern California for over 25 years so they were part of the dancers on the field. The game was on Aug. 5,1984 which was also my Mom's birthday.

Awesome memory! I remember only bits and pieces of The Olympics that year. Mainly that the traffic didn't totally suck.

@@RockessentialTim Yeah all of the "experts" said O the traffic is gonna be awful, but guess what it did not happen. I still have the ticket to the game and a bunch of pictures. My best friend and I even got to see the flame by Knott's Berry Farm. A good friend of my Mom she had been to the Olympics when they where in L.A. in 1932. They interviewed her on one of the local tv stations.

Dodger stadium may not have good memories for the families that once lived there and were evicted so that dodger stadium could be built there. Ry Cooder did a song about that .

Dodger Stadium beloved? By whom? Not the Latino community certainly. Not true Dodger fans . My mother was one of many that ceased to care about baseball when O'Malley snuck out of the BK.

It’s not about the journey OR the destination, it’s about the traveling companions 🦮.
