Hi everyone,
Our new mini series starts with the embarkation day. Our travel day started flying from Manchester to Mallorca on the Tui Dreamliner, it was a perfect airport and flight experience. We then got the coach over to the Mallorca port where we were greeted by Kevin and Perry. We checked in, got our cruise cards and went to our muster station before then exploring the #marellacruises Voyager ship.

We started with a few drinks at The Squid & Anchor, The Arts House and Flutes (Where you can push a button for bubbles). We were also exploring the pool deck and found the first Marella zebra on board. It was pretty windy up on the pool deck which gave us an insight for what was to come later.
Dane grabbed a quick bite to eat at Athena's in The Kitchens, I unfortunately didn't like the sound of anything this evening so stuck to the wine on tap and watched Viva and Mallorca out of the window haha
We had a bit of a scavenger hunt trying to find the souvenir t shirt for the cruise but after visiting 4 different locations we finally managed to get them! We also got the lanyard which acted as a guide for the evening's entertainment for the weekend.
It was then time to get ready for the evening's festivities and get changed into our outfits for the first themed night - Neon Night! We had glow sticks, glow paint, bright coloured shell suit and tutu/ leg warmer combo. It was a great fun theme for the first night and it was so good to see most people taking part.
We got some burgers and chips from the Snack Shack and looked out over the pretty rough waves, we enjoyed this food. We then went to see Tasha Leaper the Madonna tribute on the pool deck, we stayed for a few songs but as the wind was so crazy we went inside. We found by accident the Broadway Show Lounge and watched the end of the 80's Vision show. We thought all the performers were brilliant and very talented and it made us want to watch a full production show!
After this we went to the Squid and Anchor and caught a part of the Durran Durran act ( Duran Duran tribute). It was then time to go back to the pool deck for one of the headline acts - Go West. We had a great spot to see them and we really enjoyed their set, we even got the set list.
We then went back to the Squid & Anchor for the silent disco which was so much fun but it does always look funny to watch when you can't hear the music! We loved this! We then had a walk further round the ship before calling it a night. You'll be surprised to see we signed off the next morning haha
It was a very fun action packed first day and we really loved the experience and excitement all around the ship. The atmosphere really was electric! We can't wait to share more of the #cruisevlogs with you!
