Thanks for watching my video and commenting. I have a love/hate relationship with my ember cup. The problem is that it does the job so well I just keep using it every day. The software doesn't seem to work on my Pixel Phone and I have replaced two of the bases. With any other product I would have moved on but find it in my hand every morning.

This mug is AMAZING!!! Is it expensive for a coffee/tea mug? Yes. Will it work well and save you money? Yes. I own two mugs: 10oz (2 years old and still looks great and keeps the beverage warm for the same 85 minutes and I use it for home) & 14oz (just bought it from Costco for $140 to use at the office). I will never go back to garage sale crappy mugs and cold coffee or tea. I frequently get called away to meetings in the morning and used to return to lukewarm to cold coffee. Now I have the perfect mug of coffee and tea. Both of my mugs worked amazing with my phone with the Bluetooth tech. However, once I set up the temperature I want for my coffee thru my phone, I hardly use the app anymore. Is this mug expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? HELL YES!!!! If you love your coffee or tea at the perfect drinking temperature, it is worth it. As for the cost, check out Costco. They sell it for a lot less than Amazon.

Thanks for watching my video and taking time to comment. I have not seen them for sale in Costco- Canada. I enjoy my mug but the technology hasn't really changed since inception. They need to bring out Mug 3 with wireless charging and update their Bluetooth software.

I love mine. I bought the 14oz and it's fantastic. They have apparently fixed the app (at least IOS version). I got the copper version and I prefer it to my black travel mug because it does't show fingerprints. Love it so much I'd like to get a second so I can have one at work and one at home.

Make sure you dry the bottom of the mug and charging stand before charging. Those two pins from the charging stand are not sealed and moisture leaks into the base. This is a common problem and I have had two replaced under warranty. The good news is that it fails before a year is up and Ember is quick to replace them under warranty.

@@TechforSenior I’m going on 5 years with my travel mugs and haven’t had any trouble with charging or the pins. I always keep the mug and base dry.

You do know that wired charging is at least 60% more effective than wireless charging? The mug would take two to three times as long to recharge.

Yes. True but the mug still takes a long time to recharge. I have 3 base units in different locations that solves the problem.

Ok is it just me but the woman in the video her cup is chipped at the top.

Well done. You are very observant. That B-roll was not of an ember mug. Mine has never chipped after 2 years. They have replaced 2 charging stands under warranty.

This company has ZERO customer service. They don’t respond, repair or replace even new mugs. But from Walmart for $29.

Thanks for commenting. In the charging base there is no seal on the mechanical on/off switch which means water leaks into the base and ultimately fails. Very poor design but they have replaced mine twice under warranty. At our Walmart they are still $217😂

Whatever you do, don't buy this mug. The charger/coaster would stop functioning after a few months and getting help from Ember is impossible.
