Great video! I would ask how about the ESD/EFT immunity circuit and its simulation in LTSpice?

Thanks, the ESD LTSpice simulation is possible to some extent. I have done it.

@@emcDV I’ve done an ESD generator model in LTspice, but I am working on modeling the EFT model, some issues haven’t solved. Anyway, this a good content, and wish to learn more strategies about the immunity.

I think time is problem due to fast transien events combine with DUT circuit could be very long to compile.

What does it take to make such filter for an simple AB class transistor audio, i'm using or gonna use BD137/BD140 on bi-polar 15V. I adjusted the resistors to 1 amp max at 12V. i have a small transformer for testing, how do i choose the right transformer and this EMI FIlter?

@@emcDVIMHO This is the curse of our times. You give people a tutorial on how to make a model, and they want you to give them a ready-made one instead of using the tutorial and making their own, learning a lot of things along the way.

The simulations that you present are fine for a system that is class I i.e. has a connection to chassis and earth but class II devices are different as they don't tend to have Y-caps. How do you typically measure the different ground connections? I typically use the gnd and com symbols with a 10pf and 10Gig between them.

Hi, it is true about the class that this simulation is for safety class 1 devices. If you can't have Y capacitors, then only series elements remain :-)

Sir i have a question. 0:19 source impedance and load impedance are 50ohm. How can source 50 ohm impedance go to load side in situation common mode and differential mode?
@emcDV

Hello, watch further :-) Common mode reference load is at 2:30 Differential mode reference load is at 11:37

Sir thank you for the answer! But my question is why the source impedance 50 ohm move to the load side. 0:19 R3 50 ohm is in front of the noise filter. 4:19 common mode filter, 12:28 differential mode filter don't have 50 ohm in front of filter. Please understand im not good at CISPR 17 measurement😅

@@정성빈-c1s The part 0:19 describe a measurment system with 50 0hm signal applied to the filter and 50 Ohm load. The common mode and differential mode further are simulations of more realistic situation when you will have your filter inside your device housing close to the connector.
