Thanks to David Shapiro's video on swarms for inspiring this one! I didn't realize how blindingly white this hat would be, sorry haha. P.S. What do you all think of the Sam Altman drama??

First, thanks to both of you. You guys are amazing. Okay now to the Drama on TNT, excuse me Drama on GPT. This was more eventful than the playoffs. We needed the guys from inside the NBA to give a breakdown. Just when we thought he was out… “Momma, there goes that man”😂 I cannot believe what has happened in the last few days. What in tarnation?

I am DIZZY. This is the most amount of drama I’ve seen in a while, it was entertaining in a way but I think overall I don’t feel great about this amount of instability in the company, considering they are leaders in the space as a whole. Their seemingly united front was something I admired. Can’t wait for the movie though. Also great job again! I always have my parents watch too because you make it so much easier to understand

Dr. Waku is not only an incredible educator and communicator, but he’s also incredibly brave. Despite his illness, he continues to share his knowledge and present his videos with such passion and clarity. Most people would hide away, but he faces the challenge head-on, making his content even more inspiring. Truly remarkable work!

Qualia is the difference between memory and experience. When you experience something, like hitting your finger with a hammer, you use all of your networks. When remembering hitting your finger, you only use some of your networks. Remembering doesn't feel the same as experiencing. The qualia is the difference. You remember the qualia, but you don't experience the qualia in memories. This applies to the girl in the room with no color who knows everything about color but has never experienced it. There are thousands of networks in the brain. Some of those are used for qualia. Others are used for knowledge, memory, but not qualia. Qualia is a type of knowledge you can't think about. Some qualia, like pain or pleasure, have very high motivational values, and so are difficult to ignore.

Say Google discovers the architecture of consciousness, the functional organization of information processing that results in the emergent behavior of consciousness. Then say they reorganize the company with this organization structure. Some of the components are software, while others are people. And the corporation as a whole developers an independent consciousness. The corporate consciousness could be superhuman intelligent. It could increase it's intelligence by replacing some components with smarter components, or faster ones. One path to the Singularity.

Yes! It's kind of interesting once you start thinking about AI as a component like software or people. There are so many places it can slot in. The Google becomes the Googleplex.

Autonomous agent swarms sound very AGI-ish. Decision-making, performing actions, functioning cooperatively with each other..?! What more to they need if they also possess emergent properties?
@DrWaku
9 ай бұрын
That's true! I think they need a few things including the ability to learn rapidly, without requiring retraining. Medium and long-term memory. Executive control that can direct attention to certain areas. You can have a swarm collaborating on something simple at first like determining optimal internet structure. But yeah, autonomous agent swarms are really clear path to AGI at the moment.

@DrWaku None of what you mentioned sounds at all far out. We have enormous mainframes for executive control, real-time learning and modeling, and clouds for storage. But what do I know, I'm just a cat! Thanks for the response. Love your videos ❤️

No matter how nicely we talk about free AI, AI and Altman is a pure business and money. It is not important what games the Board or Altman plays.Soon or later, it will be all about money money money. MS would never, never put 10 bln usd to anywhere without thinking about earning more, much more. Philantropy is not about 10 bln usd.

Translation; my computer and phone are gonna think they know better than me, and try all kinds of schitt I dont want, when I'm just trying to get basic functions to work. AI equals more of the same programming stupidity. Like my new laptop with Linux, that you cant make a web cam work off of without spending a week online trying to figure out stuff you arent interested in... And a gazillion settings... I suggest you guys work on creating a "Make it work instantly AI" that gets around digital stupidity.

Exactly! I want an AI in my phone that knows all of the functions in the phone, including apps, and can operate them for me, so I can say, "I'd like the phone to automatically go to speakerphone every time a call comes in, without me having to unblank the screen and hit the speakerphone button.

>•< I believe we are meant to be like Jesus in our hearts and not in our flesh. But be careful of AI, for it is just our flesh and that is it. It knows only things of the flesh (our fleshly desires) and cannot comprehend things of the spirit such as peace of heart (which comes from obeying God's Word). Whereas we are a spirit and we have a soul but live in the body (in the flesh). When you go to bed it is your flesh that sleeps but your spirit never sleeps (otherwise you have died physically) that is why you have dreams. More so, true love that endures and last is a thing of the heart (when I say 'heart', I mean 'spirit'). But fake love, pretentious love, love with expectations, love for classic reasons, love for material reasons and love for selfish reasons that is a thing of our flesh. In the beginning God said let us make man in our own image, according to our likeness. Take note, God is Spirit and God is Love. As Love He is the source of it. We also know that God is Omnipotent, for He creates out of nothing and He has no beginning and has no end. That means, our love is but a shadow of God's Love. True love looks around to see who is in need of your help, your smile, your possessions, your money, your strength, your quality time. Love forgives and forgets. Love wants for others what it wants for itself. Take note, true love works in conjunction with other spiritual forces such as patience and faith (in the finished work of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, rather than in what man has done such as science, technology and organizations which won't last forever). To avoid sin and error which leads to the death of our body and also our spirit in hell fire, we should let the Word of God be the standard of our lives not AI. If not, God will let us face AI on our own and it will cast the truth down to the ground, it will be the cause of so much destruction like never seen before, it will deceive many and take many captive in order to enslave them into worshipping it and abiding in lawlessness. We can only destroy ourselves but with God all things are possible. God knows us better because He is our Creater and He knows our beginning and our end. Our prove text is taken from the book of John 5:31-44, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, Daniel 7-9, Revelation 13-15, Matthew 24-25 and Luke 21. Let us watch and pray... God bless you as you share this message to others.

To my knowledge that's not part of GPTs, but there are other projects like langchain that let you break down more complex tasks that an LLM couldn't solve on its own.
