Hi, Emily, awesome process! Is there any difference in quilting over piecing done with Glue vs. Lite SAS? Thank you for these wonderful videos! Karen

Hello Emily. I just found your videos and they’re stunning. I’m so excited. I do have a question on finishing. You may have covered this in a video I haven’t seen yet so forgive me. Do you do any quilting stitches on your finished projects?

Hi Debbie~ Yes, I always quilt my projects with dense quilting. I like 100# Microquilter thread from Superior, and do either a doodle stitch or an all-over meander.

In your Partidge in Pear video, you mentioned not liking to store your fused fabrics for period of time-what’s your reasoning? Would like to store unused fused pieces for future projects for 6 months or more. Also, does Lite Steam-a-Seam 2 go bad after certain period of time?

I have found that Lite Steam a Seam 2 will lose it's temporary adhesion after a period of time. However, it seems to be fine once I press it again. Heat & steam will activate the glue regardless of the time that has passed

so Emily, you are working on more than one project at a time in your studio???

No, I generally work on one project at a time. But my brain is usually thinking about 3-4 different concepts at any one time ;)
