I live in NY, so it's not unusual to encounter celebrities. My first encounter was with David Letterman at the height of his celebrity. Did I mention that I was a huge fan. On a quiet Saturday morning, I needed cash, so I found an atm near the UN and stood behind a really tall man. After using the atm, he turned around and we locked eyes. The terror in his eyes was intense. Instead of making anything of his presence, I said "are you done?" He immediately relaxed and responded, "yup." When I heard Cher's voice, I didn't bother turning round. She was shopping with another person and definitely not working. I worked as a cashier in college, and I made Glenn Close laugh. I was muttering under my breath and didn't care who heard me. Imagine my surprise when I looked up and saw her bright eye stairing back at me. When it comes to celebrities, I've learned to ignore their celebrity if they aren't working. And they normally respond accordingly. Simon Cowell was the ONLY exception. We locked eyes on a Metro North train and he, nodded and smile in a way to say, "Yes, it's me!" Instead of smiling back, I turned around and walked to the other side of the train car. My training runs deep.

Then the dark ages , whenever it was 06-08 was rock bottom , it’s crazy you could physically tell he wasn’t looking healthy around that time , super skinny eyes bulgin , sunken face , drug addiction is a bitch for real , it’s even harder to deal with when basically it was your whole persona surrounding drugs and being crazy is what made you so famous to begin with. Getting positive results from destroying yourself , then have your best friend die right in the middle of it, that’s tuff. The music is one thing , but what he’s been through on a personal level , including childhood too , I have the utmost respect for this man , what a crazy triumph, odds stacked against you from birth , and yet you emerge as one of the best in the world to ever hold a mic. 💯 I swear , Eminem and South Park raised me 😂

If you belive one word of this nonsense you belive in the tooth fairy. It's not too hard for a celebrity to go out in public and not be noticed. Step 1. Don't live in LA. Step 2. Don't cruise around in a 500,000$ car. Step 3. Wear a ball cap correctly and a pair of sunglasses. Step 3b. If you are a rapper, don't go out in public in character. I don't care for rap with cuss words in it. I like music from the 50's to the 80's and maybe part of the 90's. My dad who passed March 8, 1986 had some Elvis records, and others from the 50's, 60's, and 70's and we sold most of them. But, I bought a bunch of 45's and a few big ones at an auction at an antique store near me, and some on ebay, and CD's and tapes at a garage sale near me more recently. I lost my mom June 14, 2022 in the hospital, her lungs were scarred and her breathing got worse. My mom liked to sing to music in the car in the 80's and she would sing along to 80's songs like Whitney Houston, Madonna, Lean on Me by Club Nouveau, Rick Astley, Nothing's gonna change my love for you by Glenn Madeiros (1987), and more. I don't like what 99% of what people younger than me like.

His music needed to be made. His lyrics needed to be heard. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be so famous that you can’t leave your house without being noticed or spyed on. Everything you do is questioned & commented on. Yes, they choose to be famous but I believe him when he said he just wanted his music to be heard without all the other bs. They choose to be famous but they also are human and make mistakes but their mistakes are out for everyone to see and comment on. I’m sure it’s hard but never worrying about money might be worth it, just sayin. Haha. I’m worrying today about where my next grocery trip is gonna come from…he could own grocery stores lol. I don’t know which would be better but the grass is always greener so they say. We need to learn to be happy where we are, love what we have & be grateful for it. Be well all. And remember, you never know what someone is going through & one kind word could make all the difference. Let’s take care of each other in 2024! ♥️✌🏻♥️
