[RAP BATTLE 1] I'ma tell you this for your own benefit Your shit was dope as hell, 'specially when you wrote ninety-percent of it What you need to do is practice on your freestyles 'Fore you come up missin', like Snoop Dogg's police files This type of literature that I'm spittin' be hittin' You gonna swear to God this shit was written But it wasn't, I'll kill a dozen rappers when I'm buzzin' Guzzlin', beat your ass like a jealous husband Now, you boys are about to suffer and see north When you go in a coma longer than Vladimir Konstantinov Cut the damn machine off Get a clean cloth, and wipe this bloody video screen off [RAP BATTLE 2] I'm movin' in for the kill, plus I got the trap set I can tell you're wack as fuck, and I ain't even hear you rap yet Look at you thinkin', "I'm about to whip his ass ‘Cause I'ma do some written shit, plus I get to go last." Well, guess what? Even if I go first, it's no worse My shit's still gon' demolish yo' verse I'm 'bout to slice you like a Ginsu And anything you say can and will be used against you In a court of law, I'm short and raw Take your fuckin' shit and cut it off Yo, you wanna be a dope emcee? Look, don't get mad and start takin' your period out on me [RAP BATTLE 3] You wanna represent on the microphone, but you rap sleazily I ain't about to battle this fake ass Eazy-E There ain't no way I'ma do this bullshit I don't give a fuck, I'm loaded up with a full clip Time of the month? You couldn't get the tape of the day Take him away, I rip him like a paper mache I heard you rap before, you ain't about shit This whole battle was mismatched, like your outfit Try to battle me and get your mouth split You sold out, like Ticketmaster Outlet Ha ha, I bust and I crush I don't give a fuck, ain't no way that you can fuck with us I'm givin' back with pimp shit I laminate that ass in a badge and wear it at the Rap Olympics [RAP BATTLE 4] Blah-badee-blah-da-blah-blah-stop babblin'! You so fuckin' wack I'ma walk away while you battlin' Fuck that, I'm on a brand new solo mission To make sure that Wendy Day kicks your ass out of the rap coalition I throw a switch at an execution With an overdose of devotion Don't talk back, I'm the dope, bitch So who you sound like on the mic? There was only one 2Pac, your thug style is just one big sike Take a big hike, bitch, you can't catch me Your best rhymes still ain't shit, like a patsy What the fuck you gonna do? I'll battle anybody in your crew And I don't give a fuck, I slaughter boys Especially wack-ass emcees that will wear a fake-ass corduroy [RAP BATTLE 5] I'm 'bout to make this mic short circuit This beat is wack as fuck-this shit fits you perfect! I got so many ways to diss you that I'm playful with you I'll let a razor slit you, 'til they have to staple-stitch you And everybody in this fuckin' place'll miss you If you try to turn my facial tissue to a racial issue Nobody's hearin' you, you're a wack liar Damn! All your white jokes just backfired ‘Cause, bitch, you barkin' up the wrong tree Now go tell all your boys that you was beat by a honkey I don't give a fuck, I'll kill ya Bitch, you better recognize me, like I look familiar Anything you say, I'ma kill ya Grill ya, when I fuckin' drill ya

To think there was just one person and only one person in that crowd that made it possible for Eminem to change his life. If that intern wasn't there or didn't come up to ask for the tape, I don't think we would have Eminem. I know Proof tried his hardest to push Em to get in and Em had Paul..but the difference was the connection the intern had. Proof had connections, he had connections all over, but that was limited to just Detroit at the time..he had no connections in California where Dre was, no connections to Jimmy. It was this single person. As luck would have it, Dre was in the right spot at the right time to catch Eminem's voice on that tape. Whether or not it made any difference if he didn't hear it that day is debatable, but it was a lucky draw for Em that Dre was there with Jimmy that day and he just so happened to listen to the tape. Life works in strange ways..in Eminem's case, it worked miracles.

All battle rappers have a couple dope written lines to toss in and freestyle off of, I've never seen someone not reuse at least one line. For the haters saying they've heard some of ems lines before. Duh. It's part of battles/freestyling.

Far too many comments saying he pre writes his battles is BS! What MC doesn't go into a battle without some pre-arranged responses to different situations and disses? The skill is in the delivery, the timing, and being able to spit a verse in the moment with a mix of on the spot fire to make each bar unique whilst thinking of new ones, linking it all up and taking in the situation and the surroundings and the crowd and the person tryna better you! Not to metion being able to create some complex and imaginative rhymes like he does! I'd imagine the white comments would instantly elicit the facial tissue response, he was probably rubbing his hands with glee when someone tried that diss knowing he had a response ready made to make his opponent look silly and that no one in that room had heard before. Recycled rhymes are only recycled when everyone has heard them, having some stuff pre ready and pre made to reply to the disses only adds to his genius! As I'm sure it would to all battle rappers!! Em is a legend and deserves the respect he gets and the deal with Dre after his performance! The man is a superstar and i will enjoy listening to his genius for many years to come!!

everyone is using prewritten shit, but it doesn't change the fact that 95% of all these versus were prewritten. he's good at freestyling yes, but hes not THIS good.. no one is.. you can come up some amazing lines sometimes on the spot with zero thought, but you cant do an entire fucking verse, 3 -5 times in a row, where almost every single bar is deep with so much thought put behind it. it's a rap battle, and that's fine, but it's annoying when it's considered a "freestyle" when it simply isnt.

It's weird hearing rhymes that Eminem recycled into hits later in life. It always drives me crazy when people do that shit. Repeating lyrics is annoying. And I say that coming from freestyling every single day throughout childhood and adolescence. We would call each other out and clown each other for days after you repeated something. Anyways, it's weird that it's Eminem.

After em lost this battle some dude came up and asked him for a cd. At the time em was so defeated after the loss he just threw the cd at the guy. See em had just evicted the day prior finding all his stuff on the front lawn. He really needed the 500$ prize money but he got something even better. The guy that asked for a cd worked for Jimmy Iovine and the rest in history. The idiots in the comments don't know the real story, go find the interview and hear it out of his own mouth if you don't believe me.
