It’s *always* my sweetest pleasure, family - and I gotta feeling that the Trio has already run off with our hearts !!🙏🏽💯😅🙌🏽💌 This music is our lifeblood & it’s been a privilege to enjoy these concerts while they’ve been away from the Harlem living room. - Emmet, Kyle, & Phillip: the smiles on your faces speak to a larger reality…you are so absolutely absorbed in the moment. It is amazing how the language of this tradition triggers instant affinity. The interplay with Ola & Lars was overwhelming, after a mere couple hours of just having met.. We love witnessing this global love when ‘da spirit hits. And this is the enchantment & intelligence of this music -(what I identify as *Black American classical improvisation* )- its capacity to unite us all. ♥️🙌🏽🤝🙏🏼 Congratulations, guys, on a phenomenal tour.

"Blues in the Closet" starts with a wonderful cooperation between two relatives, the bass and the violin. Imagine how like each other they are, four strings and the same shape. The only thing that differs is the size.

It seems as both Norway and Sweden love Emmet Cohen Trio. When they were in Stockholm it was a success, and this one in Norway Molde, is also fantastic! Love to all of you from a person living up in northern Sweden, listening to this on KZitem.

Real Great....I[m getting bit of Ahmad Jamal Trio vibes around the 25-27 minute markers. Superb chemistry and the way you guys orchestrate the music on the fly, w/ ever changing impromptu variations in dynamics and textures....blurring the line between arrangement and improv but a always in a tasteful musical way ....Thanks for sharing.

Emmet, I hear Bix in that intro & what he might've done thru, "Without a Song", and thru out. Later some Billy Taylor & Red Garland style. I miss playing M street Georgetown sometimes, but I'd rather play for my dog, then I think, what am I doing? Anyway, love your playing Emmet.

Isnt the circle the perfect graph for musicians? They start at one point and during the trip it is always a goal to come back to the point from where they started. So sorry, Jeffrey, I think you are wrong.
