Emmett till’s story was very shocking and sad that’s why I have zero tolerance of racism and discrimination especially when it was practiced within the justice system what made me so angry was those who were involved in the murder got away with it and they had they intention to kill Emmett till after he only whistle at Bryant’s wife and some of the people were making Emmett look like a criminal plus Mr Bryant’s wife lied not only in court but on the news when she confessed because she didn’t want her husband and his half brother to end up in jail for their crimes these Jim Crow laws in the past made life’s of African Americans a living hell it was similar how Nazi Germany treated the Jews and other race’s during their reign of terror. God knows where these criminals who took Emmett tills life would go to in the afterlife it’s a place of torture No Rest darkness and fire day and night forever and ever because God saw what racism did to this innocent boy . Great job on video, except you did state a few things that werent true. Also, i read many times in my research on the case( Im from Colorado and i have seen all the sites in person), that one of the black men in the truck was actually the one that killed Emmett with the gunshot to the head. Supposedly Milam, Bryant, etc didnt initially plan on killing Emmett, but the combination of him talking back to them as well as being liquored up made them take it too far and injure Emmett too badly. JW Milam then reportedly told one of the black men to put him out of his misery which makes sense actually because being 1955 Milam knew his black workers were not going to tell him no especially with a pistol on his side. So im my opinion a black man actually fired the fatal shot that killed Emmett.

As for him hitting on Carolyn Bryant inside the market, extremely doubtful, since he wasn't in there long enough for all of what she claimed to have happened. I believe that Bryant was just bitter and angry about being stuck at home with the kids, minding the store alone, while her husband was out on the road. Yesterday was that fateful day where he went to Bryant's grocery meat market. Monday (Aug 28th 1955 Sunday morning at the time) would be the day they killed him. 4 days eased by but unfortunately in a small town, nothing is kept a secret

Excellent video! It was very painful to watch it. However, after walking out of the room, unable to withstand the horror, I did go back. It's a video which should be seen by everyone. especially at school. thank you.

Thank you. Emmett's killers were brutal and I can't even imagine what he went through.

@@WhoDunnitSisters Neither can I. But being shocked by such an abomination committed on this innocent young boy has led me to look further into this unbelievable event of evilness. I have bought and recommend the book: "Emmett Till. The murder that shocked the world and propelled the civil rights movement." Now, this book does not spare the reader from details that one can only imagine in slasher horror movies. So, if one is weak-stomached or/and very sensitive of mind, i'd recommend not reading it. However, I consider it an especially good and concise account of this child's ordeal. There are parts in the book though, which make one want to skip reading them. but if you want to give justice to young Emmett and his horrendous story, one has to come back to those parts. because you need to place yourself in this late child's position. and thank you.

Milam was definitely the ring leader, he bullied Roy to go get Emmett. Milam was a WWII veteran and he bragged about the German soldiers he beat to death during the war! He was a racist psychopath!!

I was listening to a ex klansman leader that knew Carolyn Bryant he said his parents talked about her as wearing short shorts and flirting with most of the guys that game in the store and most the customers were black's that's all I got to say

Good evening ebony. You said; "flirting with most of the guys that game in the store and most the customers were black" Do you realize what this would mean. This would imply that Emmett was attracted to her short shorts and fell for her flirting. This would mean that everything Carolyn Bryant said about Emmett Till in her testimony in court was true. ________________________________ And that Emmett Till was not the innocent young child everyone has characterized him as. But that Emmett Till truly did sexual assault Carolyn Bryant. Such a presumption would suppose that Roy Bryant was protecting the virtue of his fair maiden wife. ____________________________________ Well, you have to consider the source. Only A KKK Grand Dragon like Scott Shepherd could come up with such a perverted scenario
