Calibrating the suspension is an operation required in various situations, such as:
when you need to operate mechanically on the suspensions or air springs, to remove and reinstall the sensor-chassis connecting rods;
when you replace one of the level sensors;
or when you need to change the driving level for specific needs of vehicle use.
An error in the suspension system is indicated by the related warning light turning on in the instrument panel.
By connecting the TXT MULTIHUB diagnostic interface, we can identify the cause of the failure using the IDC5 software.
In the errors page, we can see that a level sensor fault is highlighted
The sensor operation can be checked in the parameter dashboard.
Once the sensor problem has been identified, we can replace it.
When the operation is complete, we can calibrate the levels via self-diagnosis. The help sheet in the adjustments will provide practical information on how to perform it.
The diagnostic procedure will indicate the various operations to perform, step by step.
First we must lift the chassis, insert the spacers, and then lower the chassis on the spacers by discharging the air completely.
At the end of the procedure, the vehicle height values will be stored in the control unit.
If the procedure is performed correctly, the error will no longer be active and the warning light in the instrument panel will turn off.
