This is the most imaginative, well conceived French language learning aid I've found.

This is a unique and very helpful approach to learning a new language. I appreciate the different speeds at which you speak the dialogue---slowly and then normally. I also appreciate the casual conversations you engage in, and that every word of it is translated for us on screen simultaneously. I will be looking forward to new videos. Merci Beaucoup 😃

Great video. I feel like I'm learning a lot hearing you speak French in such a clear and slow manner. The subtitles are helping a lot also. I'm from the UK and we don't have air conditioning either. I do worry that there's a feedback loop developing - climate change means more heatwaves which drives people to buy more air conditioners which feeds into climate change (manufacturing, power to run them, etc) and so it goes on...

Here in Seattle the weather is mild, so most of the houses around here don't have air conditioning. However, some apartments, especially the top ones, get very hot during summer because heat rises. You can buy a small air conditioner for the bedroom in order to sleep better, as you were talking about. Speaking of heat waves, last summer it got to 104 degress F, which is very unusual for here. I made ice baths for my children's feet and that kept them cool. We also slept downstairs where it was a little bit cooler.

Merci beaucoup pour le video. Ici, en Afrique du Sud, la majorité de gens n'ai pas l'air conditionée. J'habite à Velddrif. Ici, en été, nous avons quelque fois, temperatures de 38-40○. Nous avons une petite piscine, et ça est une necessité. J'ai étudié La Français au Université de Durban. Maintenant, je voudrais reviser ma Français.

That's because you have oil and electricity. Here we don't have enough electricity for air conditioners, use too much electricity. Your country sounds beautiful.

1'43" ...quand prononcez-vous la lettre "s" ou non avec le mot "plus" (plus en plus)...
@FrenchFacile12
Жыл бұрын
Oui, prononcez-le comme cela : "Pluzanplu". When "plus" is followed by a word that starts with a vowel we pronounce the "s". That makes the pronunciation more fluid. It's called "Liaison". Here the S sounds like a Z. Search "Liaison" on Google. You'll easily understand this concept.
