I have the ENA 8. If I use already filtered water, do I have to still use the filter?

That machine is a thing of beauty. I am quite amazed on the overall size of the machine.

This was very helpful for me mine just arrived today. I previously had an ENA 4, the ENA 8 is very fast easy setup.

How would you compare this to Miele cm5310? This looks better in my opinion, but was just wondering the quality of the espresso it produces vs that from cm5310. Thx

Very similar in beverage quality! But very different navigation

Between 2021 E8 and this 2023 ENA 8: Apart from number of beverage selection (17 vs 15), larger water tank and bean hopper capacity, and differences in display…what are the other key differences I’m missing? Seems like ena8 almost as good as e8 for few hundred less if not needing larger capacity?
@ecscoffeeinc
11 ай бұрын
@@TN-hv5cf Yes those are the main differences :) The E8 will also grind more espresso per cup. The Ena 8 will grind 10g and the E8 will grind 16g

@@ecscoffeeinc thank you for confirming! I’m not a total coffee snob but will the strength of a double shot be substantially weaker than a double shot in the E8? My wife and I are wanting to kick our current coffee shop to the curb and make our our espresso shots.
@ecscoffeeinc

Not really weaker. When brewing the coffee function I do a double ar 2 bean strength for an 8oz. It's quite strong.. but honestly the frustration in the Ena line is in the size of the water tank, bean hopper and waste bin..a double shot though will still be good.

@@ecscoffeeinc my wife and plan to predominantly use the machine to make 6 shots total so with the smaller bean hopper and water, am I setting myself up to refill these containers daily? The cost to buy the E8 isn’t really a factor but I also don’t want to throw money away if it’s a non issue. Any thoughts?
