It’s supposed to be repetitive. They literally have songs with the same two lyrics. It’s their style and what makes them unique. It’s also called a genre where they play the same type of music so that could be a reason your saying this

Actually no. The movie will be nowhere near as atmospheric as it was without Daft Punk's soundtrack. If you read online, you'll get to know that Daft Punk actually first created the audio and then the director and the cisual fx guys went about making suitable visuals for the audio. The music is an integral and essential part of the whole narrative. There's no Tron:Legacy without this epic, nostalgic soundtrack that harkens back to the original Tron.

Then why do we have two words? While they're synonyms, I'm pretty sure the subtlety of using both wouldn't be lost on someone who understands where I'm coming from. One of the most interesting aspects of the production of this soundtrack (to me) is that Daft Punk (I'm pretty sure) didn't even get to decide the name of the tracks. But if you have looked a little into Daft Punk's history, you'd come to understand that they didn't even come up with the phrase 'daft punk', but they borrowed it from a shrewd music critic who published an article on them.

This song would be cool in cyberpunk 2077 if the game was good and to put the song in the end credits as well.

I was just getting into techno when this movie came out. I enjoyed every second of Tron, and it was the first movie I ever obsessed over. When this song came on, I had to be dragged out of the theatre by dad because I just loved it so much, I couldn't leave!

When I listen to this, I imagine myself flying high in the sky, the air maneuvering in and around my face, my hair, eyes watching the horizon as the sun is setting, glowing its magnificent orange red hue, reminiscing in its beauty. I'm flying away from the girl of my dreams. The one I love, but must let go. I'm not tearing up though, because when the high pitches kick in, I visualize the horizon before me calling me. Telling me not to worry.... A new adventure awaits you, and it's this way. So I listen to the horizon, and fly in its direction.

Most badass end credits soundtrack ever. Daft Punk made such an incredible musical composition for this film. It's one of those movies that you can just watch over and over because of how purely awesome it is. The visual effects are seriously impressive and the story is beautiful and meaningful too very emotional. Can't even imagine how epic it would've been seeing this in cinema back in 2010. I wish they made a sequel like they planned with the same actors, director, composer and visual artists. Absolute underrated cinematic masterpiece. Disney's prime. Amazing to look at and to listen to with a touching plot. Thank you Joseph Kosinski for this piece of gem. Truly a unique director. The electronic music & orchestra made for a spectacular nostalgic experience.

This is in three parts but focus on the theme. We open fully electronic, the theme repeats with a touch of the orchestra (essentially the strings and possibly woodwinds), then again repeats with full orchestration (cue brass and percussion). Very well done indeed.
