Nick, I've been following you for some time and love your videos. Question, I too live in the Northwest, in the Yakima area. Where do you get your supply of woods for your projects? Thanks, Steve.

Steve I’m in the pnw also. I use cross cut Seattle. Best selection and good prices. Lots of good quality “rough sawn” and other grades of Course too

Wow these boards look amazing! I know Orcas a little - my aunt lived there for 10 years or so. She's now quite elderly and living with us in the UK. she lost all of her belongings in a house fire 3 years ago including all of her Orcas Island artworks. I'd love to be able to give her one of your Orcas chopping boards. Would you coinsider a commission piece? Do you ship to the UK? Fabulaous channel with great information for woodworkers on both sides of the Atlantic!

Hi Nick. Great work as always. Love the videos and the time you spend to share your passion, thanks again. I live on Orcas as well, and can truly say this place is special without a doubt! Go Hawks! I turn bowls and have some I'm willing to trade for a nice cutting board like this...if interested, let me know. Jason

Thought that inlay looked familiar. Waving at you from south side of the San Juan (until you go home).

Yeah, unavoidable to get the detailed inlay and the board to hold up. I have a simple handheld router inlay video though. Definitely done end grain boards without it.

Zero hand sanding. Just buy a cnc and a drum sander. 😂
