The finish on the completed tool is beautiful. I also like the details you add to personalize each piece you make. Also good that your son helps. He is learning many skills and will always remember these times with you no matter what he does in life.

Superb workmanship and very well produced videos too. I have a Taig Lathe and CNC but the Sherline machines look very good. I particularly like the CNC Lathe with the stepper motor you were using for the threading operation. These videos have given me a lot of ideas!

Luiz, another good video. Thanks so much for sharing your talents and skills with us. You have inspried me to make my own tools for my sherline. It looks like a fun project and the ones from Sherline are quite expensive. Only wish I had CNC - I would probly take a lot longer to make with out it, but many thanks for sharing.

@VK5FE Oi Rubens, foi eu mesmo que desenvolvi o sistema por correia dentada e relação 1:1. O resultado é bem interessante e melhora o espaço pra bancada. Todas as modificações e melhorias foram desenvolvidas por mim também, inclusive as porcas dos fusos pra não ter desgaste precoce entre outras coisas que deixam a máquina bem legal. O drive eu uso original Sherline. Qualquer dúvida é só perguntar. Abraço Luiz Ally

Whem you to do this one for your Taig is same thing Timoth, the result is perfet by this way and you save a lot of money. With low diameter, the radial and axial runout is inexpresive.

+marcio roberto Obrigado Marcio, Normalmente no ferro e aço uso óleo Rocut da Rothemberger que é ótimo pra corte e rosca (puro) e já no alumínio eu diluo ele a 20% com querosene, isso faz dar um excelente resultado. Abraço. Luiz

Nice finish. The threading will probably be a problem for me. I did buy that attachment but never used it. I am considering turning down the spindle of a drill chuck I got to make a drill press attachment. While I have a drill press marking precise positions is always an issue for me. It never comes out perfect.

Parabéns amigo, também cresci no seguimento da metal mecânica embora o ramo de minha família era madeira , quando criança sempre queimava os olhos vendo os velhos italianos na solda com aqueles trombolhos de retificadores se solda parecendo miseis e criando peças que naquele tempo não tinha novas para comprar , quando vou a MINAS passo o dia visitando as oficinas , se fosse meu visinho acho que iria enjoar da minha cara ,adoro esta cachaça de torno e tudo mais, dia desses fui a Miami fiquei doido com tantas coisa , comprei uns manda macho reversível para dar de presente a uns amigos torneiros , emborra não achei a loja referente a ferramentas de tornos, a tempos atrás ate lhe perguntei sobre maquina de afiar brocas e você me deu umas dicas agora comprei a danada so que não veio manual to na curiosidade , e sem saber usar a maquina, nandei um email a sampa e estou no aguardo do manual, grande abraço que Deus lhe proporcione o dom de criar mais coisas ,passando por Brasilia sera meu convidado para andar de lancha e conhecer o lago Paranoa e tomar aquele cafezinho grande abraço Adriano

A primeira eu comprei no Brasil em um importador que infelizmente fechou as atividades de importação, depois passei trazer direto dos EUAS através do site do fabricante com cartão de crédito, eles atendem bem e são sérios e confiáveis. Waldenir eu não tenho máquinas grandes que permitam fazer um barramento de mini torno, mas toda via qualquer empresa de usinagem profissional pode fazer pra você. Outra idéia é você comprar um torninho usado pelo mercado livre e fazer adaptação no seu projeto. Abraços

+ORLEI BRITO Boa noite Orlei, normalmente só nos EUA, por sorte um amigo meu que trouxe de lá colocou a venda hoje no Mercado Livre, se você der sorte ainda não vendeu, esses tornos vende muito rápido. Coloca na busca torno Sherline no mercado livre, o torno está p´reparado pra receber CNC e está com um ótimo preço. Abraços Luiz

+ORLEI BRITO Orlei não tem contra indicação não, qualquer máquina pode ser adaptada pra ser controlada numericamente e o que diferencia é a potência de motores e drivers. Um torno de bancada quando bem adaptado fica ótimo, deverá ser levado em conta o estado da máquina as folgas etc. Os Sherline são ótimos apenas pra micro e pequenas usinagens limitando bem os serviços gerais e já os de bancada resolvem bem. Vou tentar achar você no Facebook. Abraços
