Is it just me or does the cinematography for the entire movie too dark? I mean, I know the guy who directed this, Peter Hyams, was also the film’s cinematographer, could’ve at least brighten some scenes. If I was the President of Hollywood back in the 1990s, I would’ve hired Jan de Bont, director of Speed and Twister, to direct End of Days as the film would’ve been his way of directing an action-horror film hybrid. Not only that, he was an excellent cinematographer on films like Die Hard, Black Rain, Basic Instinct, The Hunt for Red October, Cujo, and Flatliners, so his cinematographer hat would’ve lent a really huge hand for End of Days. Plus, Jan de Bont’s version of End of Days would’ve been 10x better than his version of The Haunting, and better than the End of Days version that we got.

@@RubexQewb Exactly! Which is why Jan de Bont would’ve been better to helm End of Days because he know how to work a camera as well as direct. Plus, it would’ve saved de Bont from directing the remake of The Haunting, which isn’t too bad, but still!
