I'm an over-pronator and struggle to avoid niggles with my feet. I actually tend to buy neutral running shoes then stick my own orthotics in. Cliftons look interesting though and might give them a go but currently using the New Balance More v4 super cushion. I did buy some vaporflys but sold them after a couple of wears just due to how narrow they were, they just didn't feel stable (and my orthotics wouldn't fit in them). I'd like to find something for "race day" that perhaps has a carbon plate but is also not too narrow mid foot so I don't worry about going over on my ankle all the time. Useful vid cheers Martin.

Ive tried going down this route, had several sets but most have extremely high arches and they feel a bit alien in the shoe. Cliftons are ok so far, not quite as supportive as the arahi, but considerably better than most neutrals.

I considered these but went for the Graviota 4’s which are meant to be even more supportive than the Arahi. They’ve been great for walking but did not agree with me for running strangely and flared up my plantar fasciitis badly.

A bit harsh in the arch?

@@martin-boycethink I need support just not that much support! I’ll keep using them like you did as walking shoes and wear them to destruction!

That's why we ive migrated to the Cliftons. Mostly the same shoe just without being overly archy
