@@matthewchristopher1125 ok, you’re the only one who commented on this and I thought I’d get so much more hate for it hahaha - I genuinely DONT KNOW, I had a total brain fart and just forgor lool. If you wanna recreate this I wouldn’t do what I did. It ended up fine because I seived out all the solids but yeh… don’t do that.

@@matthewchristopher1125 tbf I did know it would be fine. I knew it was all being strained out so there was no difference in flavour or texture, it just took longer to strain haha.

@@ShefPhoenix theoretically there may be an added bitter element from the core, you should repeat an experiment doing one with and without for your next video. I’d be interested to know if there is any subtle difference, or major. Cheers

@@matthewchristopher1125 I think if you wanted to perfect this recipe, I would char the corn, cut it off the cob and then add the whole cobs back to the custard while it’s simmering to add flavour- like a corn stock.
