@@PavanSathiraju Well said, But what are the negative implications of de-dollarization? I think it leads to more volatility of the other local currencies for world trade in the short term.

Hello Pawan, your insight is truly spectacular. I would like to add a few points to the discussion. While it is true that the dollar is losing its strength, it is not happening as rapidly as some may suggest. The Biden administration has used the dollar as a weapon against Russia, which has made many countries cautious in their dealings with the currency. As a result, we have seen the price of gold skyrocket in the last two months, with countries like China, Singapore, Turkey, and even India buying gold in large quantities. This surge in gold prices suggests that it is becoming fashionable again as a safe option.

@@PavanSathiraju It will be intriguing to observe if the Chinese renminbi can attain the status of a reserve currency, given the misalignment of views between the Chinese Communist Party(Xijinping) and the prerequisites necessary for the renminbi to become a reserve currency, such as transparency in their financial system.

This was informative. Pawan, how do you think de-dollarisation would affect young people who are looking to make use of geographical arbitrage to get ahead in life? For example, those who are looking to do their masters in the USA and work there to earn in dollars (a stronger currency than the rupee).

1) I doubt it will change soon. 2) It might lead to the devaluation of the dollar. But, to start with - Dollar is a stable currency. So, nothing massive 3) Destinations such as BRICS might get more attractive if those currencies become attractive.

Hopefully the number of VISAS to India will be drastically reduced, India is often a useless county that peddles in Anti western propaganda & coddles despicable regimes. Go leech an education in an autocratic BRICS country that you love so much, they specialize in nefarious propaganda, oppression, corruption, and have some long running "prestigious" reeducation camps aimed at their dislike of others/foreigners.
