Wouldn't it be cleaner and easier to get a JST connector kit for about the same price and connect directly to the pins? gets rid of that splice.

Excellent video - thank you! The replacement parts cooling fan...is that quieter than the stock? Do you know by chance? I need a replacement and would like to quiet it down a bit at the same time. Thanks!

I've tried a lot of them, not seen any real difference as the stock Ender-2 Pro and 3 v2 both produce outstanding minis like shown here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/ynuaqYirhGmLimU

I’ve noticed a great improvement on my Ender2Pro with a Blokhead fan duct using a 5015 blower

@@Waynes-Wares Hi. Have you downloaded the fan duct 3D model or is it your own project?

I added some electrical lever wire nuts attached to the frame that allows for a shorter length of wire to move. I also have these shrink tubes.

Hi thanks for this. Does the gauge wire on the JST pig tails make a difference? I just searched on Amazon and saw a number of different options.

Yes, needs to be the same or slightly larger diameter, do not go thinner on wire (remember, larger numbers mean smaller wire diameter).

Is there a reason why you can't just unplug the old fan and plug in the new one? I really appreciate this tutorial, I don't know anything about wiring but my fans are going out

You can, but you would need to buy a fan with the proper length of wiring (most do not have that), disconnect all wiring in the cable protector at the board, pull it all out, then re-feed and reconnect to the board along with the new fan which is a lot of work. This way you adding a plug at the top end of the sheath, and make any future fan replacements far easier to do.
