Really good to see you making videos again now. I do agree, Aerith’s death in final fantasy 7 rebirth felt very underwhelming to say the least but it was going to be hard to replicate it twice because of how impactful the original game was. Ever since part 1 opened up the whole multiverse scenario, things would always play out differently but I still agree it could’ve been done better.

In the part of the game where he talked but you cannot hear him that is what he is supposed to be saying and that is basically being confirmed they are supposed to explore that part 3 from what I've heard

I get the fact that there are a lot of ppl who don’t want Aerith to come back, but as a big fan of Cloud i want to see him finally happy. He’s the protagonist of the main game FF VII he deserves his happy ending. This re trilogy is focused on defying fate, instead of dealing with loss. Fans were waiting for years to bring her back.

With all due respect itself people like you that ruin franchises because you do not understand or respect the story being told. You want fan fiction nonsense that betrays the entire theme of the game.

@@kjh4496 the theme of the game is literally defying fate. Have you listen the songs of remake and rebirth ? It’s pretty obvious where this is going … devs said that they want to give a happy ending to the characters this time, because this is not FF VII og with better graphics, this is a sequel post AC/ DoC /CC /EC trilogy

Cloud did say that when he was holding Aerith, he just didn't say it out loud. Plus, when Cloud was taking pictures of Aerith, one was a secret picture , when she noticed she laughed , she smiled and got angry.

I'm fine with multiple endings for part 3 and I agree that the original should be left intact which I think it will.

I think the alternate endings idea is a great one. It would take a lot of effort to really pull this off but it makes sense in terms of allowing the player to experience the ending they believe it should have. It's clear there is a ridiculous level of conflict in terms of how they "should" end the game, so it would give the writers an out to make the majority of people happy in the end.

Your comments about the multiverse make me think you didn't understand the events of rebirth. Zach's entire story happened in multiple branching alternate timelines/worlds. Sephiroth confirmed it at the end of the game, and he claims he istrying to merge them, that is the real reunion in the remake narrative. Cloud was in the 'nexus' with Sephiroth, and then he and Aerith see the crack in the sky from the dying timelines but others can't. Cloud can access multiple world lines simultaneously, which is why he can see and interact with Aerith in the world where she survived.

People are talking about Sephiroth from Advent Children literally meaning what he said, when he said "I will never be a memory", travelling back in time to try and change the past, and that is the main reason that we're seeing the deviations in remake from the OG plot. OG/AC Aerith caught up to it and attempted to influence Cloud, to try and prevent a nasty dejavu from happening, and a great game of metaphorical chess began between them. I think that one of those alternate routes you mentioned could lead to Sephiroth's resolution too. I mean, in the end, Aerith's death was in some way caused by the endless loop of hate between Cloud and Sephiroth..., the latter said at the edge of creation "I won't end, and I will not have you end" ... Perhaps another spinoff or two, or a novel, lol. Rest assured they are long since milking this franchise dry for all it's got. The new generation of fans will demand more while the older one scowls at them with outrage.

It’s not that they screwed her “death” up, they’re just not telling the same exact story as before. Aerith and Sephiroth are playing a next level game of 4d chess with each other and are both hyper aware of the OG timeline and how it plays out and are trying outdo the other so different things are happening. It’s literally a sequel when you think about it. I get a lot of ppl just wanted a faithful remake, but then theirs those of us that didn’t want that. It was always going to be a double edged sword coming back to this story no matter what they did ppl aren’t liking what they’ve done so far it’s prolly best to just sit out P3 since it’s most liking going to end differently, developers even said they’re aiming to “surpass” the OG.

@kjh496 Not sure what your hostility is about, “surpass” is the word the developers used in describing their ending to this. Nothing is being “changed” because this is not the same game lol. If this were all done faithfully like the OG and they all the sudden saved Aerith without explanation I’d be the first one to complain, but this is obviously not the same story with all this talk about the reunion of worlds and what not. Makes absolutely no sense to lay out all this groundwork with multiverses and Zack being alive only to turn around in the end and say ‘gotcha’; Rian Johnson already tried that garbage with SW Last Jedi and it didn’t go well. I don’t want to see that happen here. The reality is they wrote it this way now there has to be a payoff otherwise what’s the point to any of this.

Did you ever consider that the remakes are a sequel to Advent Children? Because in this case they don't have to keep the events unfolding the same way. Also Cloud doesn't have to be the same tormented person he was in AC but we might see him truly happy and without a guilty conscience in the end of part 3. I know many people don't agree with this but I would be all in to see my beloved characters finally happy and unbothered for once.
