Hey nice bike,I got the same one just a bigger battery... 72v 40.6ah. 5kw, In white and black. Tip... use scotch 3m 2228 rubber mastic tape on the swing arm under the chain to quiet it down over bumps... also the kickstand can be tethered with a large black headband sized hair tie and a small climbing clip by wrapping the tie around the swing Arm and loopin both ends into the clip , then open the clip and hook it into the plastic of the kickstand. My bike is totally silent even when going offroad now. Last thing is about the fork..I had the zoom fork and it is not too safe so I bought the dnm usd8. Much much better fork. Great video!

whats the range on these?
@erikjonromnes
3 жыл бұрын
@@RdotProduction depends on a lot of factors but most likely a range from 20 - 65 miles. There are so many battery options, terrain variations, and riding variations... for instance, let’s say you have a lower level battery... (say 48v 20ah) if you pin the throttle all the time, go up hills a lot and only use the throttle without pedaling, you might get 10-15 miles. if you have a high end battery (say 72v 52ah or higher) go relatively easy on the throttle, no hills and pedal assist the throttle, you could go over 80 miles. You could roughly think of the “v” or voltage as affecting top speed , and the “ah” or amp hours as how fast it gets up to speed and also distance (although the power has mostly to do with the actual discharge current in Amps which is only part of the equation in “ah”) sorry I’m not meaning to give a lesson but there is no easy answer ... that is if u want a real one. Most companies will take the best possible theoretical scenario and say “that” is the range of their bikes, even though it’s next to impossible to actually come close to it. Practically have to ride down hill with the wind, pedal like max and only weigh 85 lbs lol

@ebikeandtech

So, throttle only, I’d say just about 42-43mph and then with pedal assist I’ve gone up to 43mph also. So not all that much of a difference. Just when your battery already isn’t at full capacity, you rode the bike for a little bit, if you still wanna reach the top speed then you’d wanna switch over to pedal assist to reach it, cause with just throttle alone it will get slower to like 40mph and then 39 & 38mph

Very good video….so you bought the bike already assembled for 5k? If so it was well assembled. And it looks like they put some good parts on it. However, I can build 2 of those with 72v batteries for that price’ not trying to criticize’ I believe via state regulations they have to use a lower power battery. My total cost with the battery is at $2456, and I have a alarm….a pass key that locks the wheels up when I lock it up, and it notifies me on my phone if it’s being tampered with….the down side is the bike is a bit on the light side’ I can almost lift mine over my head without the battery’ with the battery I can’t. You can reduce the weight by using 1/4 thick MDF plastic…for the side panels…if you want longer range and a bit more power, you can add another 48v battery, or go with a 52v 30ah battery, and lose the 48v battery ….just make sure your speed controller can handle atleast 100a’ if it’s a Savoton it’s max amps will be 150a….I don’t know if your battery has a BMS…but I hope so, it saves, and allows your battery to last a lot longer, and saves it from being overcharged. It also keeps your speed controller safer….a BMS evens out the voltage if any cells become lower than the rest….without a BMS…you lose 30% power and range if that happens.

Probably yes, considering this isn’t a mid-drive electric bike, so the motor isn’t in the middle, it’s built into the rear wheel, so therefore you could just take off the crank arms & the pedals along with it & the chain as well. And I guess you could maybe solder some foot pegs in there, or find something that’d fit perfect into that middle hole where the crank arms go into, so it’d be a replacement. But the final answer is yes, you can. The motor will still work perfectly without a problem as it is not connected to the pedals, just also would have to disconnect the pedal assist wire & you’re good to go.

endurobike.com made in America and you can customize it almost any way you like. From the paint to the color of the bolts / screws on the side. Great option and not an overseas company that is impossible to ever get in touch with should something go wrong, just sayin

Does it charge when you padle it?
@ebikeandtech
3 жыл бұрын
It does not charge the bike when you pedal, but it does help the motor out so that it doesn’t suck as much energy out of the battery as it would if you weren’t helping the bike at all. So pedaling just helps the bike reach a higher range by conserving the battery.

Only issue with it so far really is the back tire, Im assuming because of all the weight that’s being put on it... So far I had to replace & try a new tube 3 times so far, even got a protective rubber casing that goes around the tube to give it even more protection, still got a flat. Next thing I’ll be trying is the puncture proof non-flat tube, which is basically a tube made completely out of rubber I think, it looks like, but, it’s non-inflatable, so, hopefully that’ll solve the issue once & for all. I’ll keep everyone updated

While on the bike, and at full charge, you can hit 40-42mph top speed. If you pickup the bike and twist the throttle to see how fast it can go without you on it, I just recently did that, and it showed 47mph.

@@FreeStyleProduction8 exactly, the power is voltage x amps so 48v x 45A = 2160 watts peak, 72v x 45A = 3240 watts peak same controller just different battery
@schubi128

A 29 AH 48V 13S Battery is a 9P or even 10P Battery. One cell is able to put out at least 8 Amps, so the battery pack should be good for 80 Amps. Question is not if the Battery can or can not. Question is how many amps does the BMS allow and if the Motor Controller can process such high amperage an if the motor will accelerate to higher speed with 48V an high Amps. 3000W @ 48V would be around 60 Amps... no problem for a 13S/10P 18650 battery pack.
@Y183-z8f
12 күн бұрын
@@schubi128 the limitation is the BMS and the speed controller sadly. Most batteries don’t output what they’re capable of because of cheap nickel strips for series and parallel connections which limits the safe current draw, most packs are under built for the cells inside. That being said it is possible to achieve high watts with lower volts like 48v but would require a powerful controller capable of accepting 60amp min, and at that point still may as well go for 60v or 72v for the max power the controller can take. Also better range higher voltage just a win win
@schubi128
12 күн бұрын
@@Y183-z8f True, I'd also shy away from very high Amps because the neccesary cable thickness goes through the roof. And there is the rule of thumb: More Volt=more speed/more Amps=more torque. While 3000W @ 48V is probably the maximum practical Power, 3000W @72V is still comfortable to handle and to keep cool.

No, none of that is needed, as this bike has pedals, and the power can be limited to a legal electric bike speed within your area (which you can look up online) Each city/state is different
