In this video expressions for the change in internal energy, change in enthalpy and heat absorbed are derived for the isothermal reversible expansion of an ideal gas. It is proved that ∆U=0, ∆H=0 & q=-w
q=2.303nRT Log V2/V1=2.303nRTLog P1/P2. It is also explained that the heat absorbed is completely converted in to work.
