The Museum of Indian Arts & Culture (MIAC) presents the next iteration of our ongoing lecture series, Engaging the Future: Conversations with Goodman Fellowship Artists.
Rapheal Begay is a visual storyteller who aims to culturally express and creatively advocate for understanding and teaching found within the Diné way of life. Named one of 12 New Mexico Artists to Know in 2020 by Southwest Contemporary, he is also the recipient of the 2021-2022 Goodman Aspiring Artist Fellowship and current Research Associate at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture. In 2017, he obtained his BFA in Photography with a minor in Arts Management and Undergraduate Certificate in Museum Studies from the University of New Mexico.
