Hi, im using Russian additive called RESURS. Its literally same thing as Engine Restore. shit brown color of liquid, and under the temperature it activates chemical reaction, which metalizes surface on micro level inside cylinders. It creates super-lubrication which reduces friction of pistons on cylinders, fills micro cracks, and restores compression. I saw tests of RESURS, when they put it in car oil, run it for few hundred kilometers, them pull all oil out, and run car without oil for two and half hours , and only then it starts to raise temperature above normal. It was originally designed for military helicopters to give lubrication if it loses oil . It literally brings old car engines back from the dead. Its made both for gasoline and diesels. They also make additive for transmission oil. I firstly used it in old Yugo 1300cc, and it raised compression, and car became 10-11decibels more quiter and stopped shaking on idle. It also completely lost smoke from exhaust and reduced fuel consumption from 5,5L per 100km down to 4,9L .I guess its because engine itself is well lubricated and has less friction.

Yeah I didn't see a huge difference in my engine after adding it but I do try to keep up with the maintenance on it. But after running it about a hundred miles or so it does seem to idle a little bit better and the gas mileage seems to approved pretty well. Yeah it seems like a very good product it's just if you're not used to the color and used to regular engine oil it might scare you after pouring it in and then checking your oil and it being a dark color. But I also looked it up under their website and they were talking all about it filling in the upper cylinder scratches and making it a low friction lube. Yep I definitely recommend it especially if you have an old engine blowing out clouds of smoke at that point he might as well try it. Thanks for the comment.

I used it on my 1988 Ford bronco with a 5.0 engine that had absolutely no compression on the number 8 cylinder. dumped in a can ( figured what the heck ) engine did seem to end up running better and the number 8 cylinder did end up having about 30 pound of compression but not enough to fire with any power. Not sure what was wrong with number 8, valves seemed to be working fine with no blow back, just no compression, something I heard is typical with those engines when the stock wires go bad and are not replaced in time, numbers 7 and 8 fire together blowing the rings apart ( or something like that ) on the number 8, but it did end up giving me 30 pounds of compression so I would say it works and I use it now in my vehicles.

IMPORTANT NOTE BELOW All right hopefully it works out for you, one thing to be aware of though. I believe the manufacturer of this states do not use it in engines that have adjustable valve timing. If your car has adjustable valve timing I recommend calling the manufacturer to make sure it will work in your. I'm not sponsored by this products so was unable to get the full readout on this engine restorer. Also you probably said something about it on the back of the can.

Hey everyone i just wanted to share this with you all !! I talked to the manufactures of this product directly and they told me do NOT use this if your vehicle has VVT Valve Timing system in it. It will clog everything up and it wont be good! So make sure you check that first before you use this product! If it doesnt have a VVT system your good. Other systems like Hydraulic valve lifters and stainless steal shims are ok. According to Scotty Kilmer. So yeah, hope that helps! Your manufacturer of your vehicle can help you if you give them your VIN number. They can tell you for sure if it has VVT . Im hoping my vehicle does not have this, trying to find out now just to be sure. CHeers! Stay safe!

guy gun shy crank crank crank @ least 7-10 times to get an accurate reading compression can be high from carbon & sludge build-up in the cylinders next use the entire can product will only do its job best with amount designed to add you are trying to level the psi to the cylinders as equally as possible to maximize performance may increase & decrease in some cases not to worry doing its job i have used restore for over 30years in many vehicles & never been disappointed its results car & truck sales
