What's the name of this vessel? Used to run these 16 cyl. Nohabs in a anchor vessel in Gulf of Mexico in 1970s aboard the M/V Black Bart and Captain Kidd and M/V Ann Bonnet. Owned by EPI from New Orleans. Nohab and ALCO's were very dependable engines. Very reliable! Also worked with Stork 9 cylinder weekspoor engines and MWM engines. Its a joy pulling and setting out anchor patterns with Nohobs. Cream of the crop! Good Day.

More likely to go deaf, honestly. You wouldn't be standing there once the engine is running anyway, just a quick walkthough to switch ends, maybe.

+PingasTheFourth , well your wrong the only basic diffrenc between 567 & 645 is the cylinder diameter and this give you 645 cubic inc. ofcourse the 645 block is reinforced to handel the extra HP up to 3600HP. If I recall correct 567 with 645 powerpacks has around 1900 HP give or take a bit. And to correct you 567E is a 645 block made with 567 powerpacks.from the factory.
