Jude Bellingham has a quality about him that I have only seen once before. For those who have any knowledge of Australian Rules Football, Joel Selwood helped to transform the culture within his club from the age of 18. He cemented his spot in the senior team within his first year and won 3 league titles in his first 5 seasons. He captained the club for the next 11 seasons where, even in transition from a title-winning player group, Geelong only missed the playoffs in one season across his 16-year career (in a salary-capped/equalised league) and retired after lifting the cup in a title-winning season. Jude Bellingham plays and speaks just as Joel does. There is something incredibly solid about Jude's character that will bring him success and lift those around him.

Well, I'd say that, until beaten, France remains the best European team and they're the favorites of next year's tournament. And while Jude Bellingham is the ballon d'or frontrunner, Antoine Griezmann might beat him to it if he finishes better in two out of three (league, Champions League and Euro), as he's having a world class season.

I honestly believe that things like the golden boot, etc. should only include goals from open play and free kicks... Free kicks are 10 times harder to score from than penalties... Being a designated penalty taker in a team really pads your goal tally and with guys like Kane being strikers, gives a false impression... Son at Spurs last season would have won the Golden boot but Big Harry golden boy takes all the spot kicks...

We always seem to get things just at the wrong time. When we had ballon d’or Owen we had distracted Beckham, then when Beckham became a leader we lost Owen. We had the best goalkeepers when we had weak defenses and strong defense with weak keepers. If we had this Jude today we would have won the final, but when Jude hits his prime we won’t have a good striker etc etc etc

The only issue is who is playing midfield with Rice and Bellingham. Personally I would play Madders. The guy is leading the Prem in Assists (5) and overperforming his xGA (Expected assists) - 3.28 (4th best in the league). Plus his team is winning games (6 wins, 2 draws, 0 losses). Playing Kalvin Phillips, Henderson or Gallagher ahead of him is a football crime.
