Rena Quliyeva 👨🏻🏫 Hello, Rena. Mr Teacher here in England 🏴. I have just found your question. The expression ‘no sooner’ refers to time between two or more events. My example sentence is this: ‘No sooner had I put the phone down (I was calling my friend) when my friend knocked at the door.’ Another example sentence is: ‘No sooner had she closed the front door, (she was going out) her phone rang.’ I hope this is helpful for you.
