This is my renewal of an old English made Rededa No.32 woodworking vice.
It was a recent acquisition by one of my rusty retrievers.
This vice is only made of a small number of parts, and these all disassembled easily.
Looking online finds a little bit of information about the ‘Rededa’ company. It was based in Sheffield and manufactured items between 1920’s and 1960’s.
I haven’t seen another one of these before, and searching for the manufacturer and model number (32) online finds a few pictures of people selling them.
It has a really simple quick release mechanism that’s a great feature on this small woodworking vice.
