With this oil painting demonstration, I wanted to provide some incite into my oil painting process. This painting was inspired by a a photo that I stumbled upon on Instagram. I wanted to do more than just create a carbon copy of the image so I decided to experiment with the use of bold colors to make for a more interesting piece. I went into it without a plan ( which I don't recommend) but I ended up improvising and having a lot of fun with it in the end. Enjoy!
Color Palette (Mostly Gamblin Oil Paints): Titanium White, Ivory Black, Manganese Violet, Phthalo Blue, Quinacridone Magenta, Cadmium Lemon, Burnt Sienna, Permanent Alizarin Crimson, Perylene Red.
