Thank you so much for this video! I am a white mom of biracial children. Middle daughter is the only one with 4c type hair and she is 7 I have self taught to braid 2 strand twist to do her edges ect... picture day is today and I absolutely love this look. I did the 2 strand twists 2 nights ago and made sure I moisturized them very well and had her bonnet on at night. I was so nervous before watching this video on taking them out this morning before school but after watching your video you made me feel confident! Your video was well explained and great visuals thank you!

@BZ1610

I band mine overnight or longer. Once I finish my twists, I wait until they're dry or almost completely dry then immediately band them. Sometimes I go 2 or 3 days without unraveling them too so they're almost constantly banded. *THE ONLY THING* that takes away from my stretch and causes shrinkage is a ton of humidity. People can use products to combat that but I don't know which ones yet >.

honestly in my opinion if you hair is short and its damaged you have nothing to lose by cutting it off from now. The truth is, you can use so many products to restore your hair but once your hair is heat damaged thats the end, it will never be the same as the new hair growing in so as your hair starts to grow out your ends will always look different. And it will hurt more to cut it off later than to just do it now, but that's just me lol
