Wonder if that's the highest capacity power bank of its kind for portable devices. For some not heavy usage scenarios of a smartphone, one can definitely run a month without a need to recharge the power bank.

Hey both of you, I owe you my greatest thanks. I have been heavily researching for a legit high capacity powerbank for over a month. Despite the terrible charging speed of the PEA60, I was ready to get it due to its unbeatable value. But now thanks to you silver, I learned about the newer Romoss PMT60. While not 200w as you claimed, it is still supports 100w and charges only 4.5 hours! Insanely great for my blackouts (and limited time to charge). Thanks as well @PulsarTECH for the lovely review as technically they are the same device :D

It would be a perfect power bank if one can charge it in 5 hours or less, I find 16 hours is very long especially if the power outages are frequent, there will be not time to recharge it. Other than that, it's pretty well rounded.

I think so but of course then it should have a super fast charging like 65W, which is available on some newer Realme, Xiaomi and other phones.

I you really want one that charges in 5 hours? I got you covered. Just get one 1/4th the size of this., want faster than that? buy an even smaller one. Its also cheaper but If you want super large capacity it will generally take longer to charge than a smaller one. Sure different charge protocals can speed thing up, but generally speaking, the bigger the battery, the longer it will take to charge, the same as a large gas tank on a car takes longer to fill than a small one. You don't always need to fill it to full capacity either. Just a 50% charge on this behemoth is still a shit ton of juice.
@factsmatter4760

The actual capacity comes out to about 52 to 54,0000 the capacity test going in the unit is always much higher so of course romoss didn't just decide to put extra batterys in guys. But thanks.for the review I think k the actual wh was around 193 theirs extensive test done by a professional web pager. But i ordered it lol it still has a whopping capacity im excited to run my light strips in my room for a beey long time before recharge. But yeah just understand that what goes through the meter to recharge the bank is unfortunately not what the cells are actually absorbing. Theirs conversion losses ect that happen after the energy passes through meter and truly gets absorbed into the cells but like I say guy this ones a keeper it's still delivering Like 87% of its rated capacity depending on which voltage and amps your device uses but average like 87% which is quite acceptable and fantastic you'll get lots of juice still from this bad boy
@PulsarTECH
6 ай бұрын
Absolutely, there's definitely some discrepancies between the power consumed and measured by the USB tester and the amount of juice actually stored. The best would be to measure that amount supplied from the power bank to some device, then one could measure how much was actually stored and delivered but since it's such a huge capacity it would require to change 5000mAh smartphone from 0 to 100% more than 10X. I have ordered another 50000mAh power bank from a different brand, it will be interesting to compare them side by side.

have a big problem: i have an one plus nord which has allows me to charge this phone with max. 30watt warp Charge. (5v /6A or 6v/ 5a) When i plug in the my one plus cable into the romoss pea30 powerbank (into the usb port) it gave me 5v and 3.8 amps. Why is that? Am i not supposed to get round 30 watts? Or should i use the usbc port?
@PulsarTECH
6 ай бұрын
No, it's not possible because, according to the specifications provided by Romoss, its output power delivery is a maximum of 18W. Therefore, it's unlikely that you'll be able to get 30W out of it. While there are more expensive power banks with higher output power, this particular one does not offer that capability. I hope this helps clarify things.

@@Marcello_799 This device is clearly rated for PD18 in its literature and thats what is advertised at so I'm interested how you figure topull 30w output out of it? That's a substantional amount more power than what it claims it can do. It would be the same as getting 300 watts from a device rated for only 180w. Anker offers a superior charging capability of 140W, but its price is exorbitant. Opting for two Baseus 65W chargers may seem attractive, but it will nearly double the cost. Therefore, this power bank remains the best capacity per dollar option, albeit not without its drawbacks. @@johnnywong1018

Hello I question, with this power bank if I used 10watt electric fan, how long it will long you think this power bank before low bat? thank you take care.
@PulsarTECH
4 ай бұрын
Hi, good question! If you're planning to use this power bank to operate a 10W electric fan, you should expect around 20 hours of usage before the battery runs low. Here's how to calculate it: with a claimed 222Wh capacity divided by the 10W electric fan consumption, multiplied by a 0.9 coefficient to account for power loss due to conversion (please note that the coefficient is approximate and may vary), you get approximately 20 hours. I hope this helps!

Hi, maybe the battery is drained completely. Try to charge it! There's no power on/off button as far as I know, it automatically turns on as soon as there is any device or power adapter is connected to any proper port. The button on the side of the power bank is a function button to toggle between different display readings.Hope this helps!
