I desperately need help. If someone is willing to reply, I'd appreciate it so much. So I've been enumerating Enterobacteriaceae in food products, but the confirmation test on oxidase results were always oxidase-positive. I searched and some articles said an exception of Enterobacteriaceae which is oxidase-positive: it's Plesiomonas shigelloides. But how do I confirm this? I need help

There's two types of MacConkey the one with crystal violet and the one without the crystal violet. Some GPCs grow on MacConkey without crystal violet but the one that has the crystal violet inhibits the growth of other GPCs
