Ok.... I know this a guitar review on a channels that that I watch for a lot of sim gear content..... but I gotta ask.....Why do your cars have metal floorboards in them? I know that most cars ultimately have metal floorboards in them but most are covered in carpet or floor mats of varying types.... just wondering whey you choose to have the metal exposed. No judgement just really curious... btw, I like the guitar review and playing. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Music is a cruel beast. It's so satisfying when it's in creation and rewarding when it's completed but then becomes depressing to forget a song when it's your own or to lose connection to band mates and never be able to recapture that feeling you had when a song was written with other people you may never even speak to again.

The nut is not replaceable so you would either have to shave it off and glue on a different one or fill the notches with epoxy or something and re, notch them for the opposite string gauges.

I just ordered the one with the built-in effects and got it in yesterday. I was amazed it plays great and sounds great. Surprisingly loud for the size. The reverb effect really makes it an experience unplugged. I am going to get the one without electronics. Cheapest guitar I have ever owned and maybe my favorite.

@DouglasThompson today I played both acoustically and amped with my bass player and drum loops. I must say some of the best acoustic electric sound amped I have got and I also have the Fender Acoustisonic. Where it is weaker than magnetic electric options is on fills and leads but, does way better there than standard acoustic electric. Love it 👍

@DouglasThompson I saw a review of it. Might have been yours. I am not sure I could play that short of scale. Being a Fender guy I am used to a longer scale. The little 22.9 inch scale is probably as small as I would prefer. I would love to see them make this guitar in at least the Gibson scale of 24.75. That being said it is great at 23".

Very cool jams. I`m a great singing drummer but when I switched to guitar it was a whole new level of difficulty for me to play funky, complex things. And singing and playing can be very much harder. I can perform but I have to keep things simple and fake my way through it the best I can.

You got me beat (no drum pun intended), I can only sing and play if I write a song specific for what I'm singing. I definitely couldn't sing to this whole song while I played. I will be singing over top this song after I get around to recording the vocals to the studio version you heard in the outro.

@@DouglasThompson There is a special set of tools (nut slotting files) which can be used for a job like that, but they are pretty costly for someone who just needs them once. It would be harder if you wanted to go back to steel strings though. In that case I would just replace the zero fret with a nut. It's intrusive, but not that complicated of a job. A luthier would probably charge you for one and a half or two hours of work,...that's at least what I would take.
