Hey, nice review I got an R7 myself and I can't really complain with the video/photo quality maybe except low-light when shooting in LOG, and the fact that 50/60 FPS footage isn't a full sensor readout - it's either extra crop(can be used to your advantage if you need to punch in), or line-skipped for 4K50/60p, both of which introduce significantly more noise(and overall softer image) when compared to the full sensor readout when shooting in 4K fine downsampled from 7K, which looks absolutely fabulous. The lens selection leaves a lot to be desired, but adapting, and using the 'old' 10-18mm EF lens can get you what you are looking for :) I just got it recently, and found that it works surprisingly well, it's tac sharp, has stabilization and is dirt cheap if you get it second hand. The Sigma 18-35mm F/1.8 is a beast of a lens, and there is nothing that comes even close, though, it's also HEAVY One more thing to consider, if you own FF EF lenses, you can buy a speedbooster to get you more of a FF look - you get extra light, some extra bokeh and most importantly, wider FOV, close to what you might get with a FF body

I was debating the R7 vs the R8...Really liked the R7 and all it's goodness, but all I have is EF L glass and the low light abilities R8 won. Still might get the R7 some day as a secondary back up.

Low like light static subjects R7 will probably win because you can get a much longer exposure due to its IBIS.

Bro, How can I shorten EVF respond time, EVF respond time longer than OVF does. As a macro photographer when I see buterfly and look throu the EVF meet dark screen unless I push the shutter if butterfly still there 😅 I make it. My last question is about animal eye detection, I wonder whether includes eyes such small insects like batterflies. I hope you understand my bad english....

Make sure to check camera settings because if the image is too dark then the EVF will show a lighter image but still take the dark one. And for EVF it's not really possible to shorten the response time, I would however make sure your shutter speed is not too slow. Also animal eye detection does not work on insects, I recommend using center frame autofocus.
