@Tankbrusher
4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Priming: This one and the VK30.01P were a A/B test to verify what I think I know. It was not primed with "primer", only the tracks were. "red oxide" was used as a base layer, VK was partialy primed and partialy sprayed with "red oxide". Result: Mr. Surfacer 1200 or just "primer" will be used on every model from now on. "red oxide" will not be used on grey vehicles, but on all others. At least that was my conclusion ; )

Beautiful! I'd never considered Bronco kits an option before. I'll definitely take a look at one of their StuGs. Random question: why did you black out the logo on the paints? I know the brand, no need to specify. Just curious.
@Tankbrusher
4 жыл бұрын
Hi Tom, thank you. It goes together fine - if they are historicly 100% I can't say - if the tool sprue would have been more refined, I would join a Fan club for Bronco : ) Just have a look into Facebook, their latest marketing campaign was leaving me with no other choice. I'll step away from this brand. It was a problem of "how" the shockmarketing was done and "what" fotos they used to sell thier product. I don't have a problem with modelers/artists work involved, just not supporting capitalizing on the subject.

Hallo Norman, ja gab es minimalst beim zusammensetzen meiner Module. Morgiges Video wird die ,,Anpassungen" aufzeigen. Thanks for pointing this out. I'm positive about critical point, was, ever will be. The construction of this build was done mounths ago and below what you will see in the project after this. Spending too much time too early on, when the result is unclear (and turns out going south), was allways a motivation killer for me... I rather take the (well earned) slap now and build up on it. Still growing skill here, if you look at some of the first builds this year, things are getting better ; ) Got myself set up earlier this mounth: proper sanding equiptment, blades, scriber, better glue selection and applicators. Stepping up the construction phase atm. @edit... somehow triggered the algorithm on this one, would have been happy with 10% of the views on this build ; )

I get your point. The Vk36.01 in two weeks from now, will be focused on historical accuracy again. That one here was a fun build for me, next time I'll make sure to communicate my intensions. StuG 0-Series in about two mounths will be my first StuG with proper research. Can tell you on the other hand, the use of calipers can make a unhappy modeller - so there is a thin line we'll walk on to keep it positive for all the audience including me ; )
