Odisha is a magnificent state of India. I don't feel any difference and hesitation in Oriya language and my Bengali language as I know well enough Oriya. I can read Oriya like any well educated Oriya man. Only once I visited Puri with my sister Jyothika. In 2016 I visited. My sister took me with her. She loves Odisha. I visited PURI temple many times. I was awed and overwhelmed and enchanted by the Holy Temple and the Darshan of Almighty Lord Jagannath and Balaram and sister Subhandra. However my days glided in glad and joy. I once was reading Oriya newspaper Dharitri a great newspaper of Oriya then then a man who is owner of the book shop asked me if I came from Bhubeneswar. He was an ex teacher and he was surprised and amazed to know that I'm a Bengali. Really Bengalees can't read Oriya language. Ex teacher told me that for the first he has met a guy who knows Oriya being not a Oriya. He presented some story books of famous Oriya writer Manoj DAS and poem book of Great poet GopoBandhu Das and Radhanath Ray. I like the poem Usha of Radhanath Ray. I got a lot of love affection from Oriya people. My sister Jyothika was really enchanted seeing that Oriya people loving me and respecting me so much. 24.7.22.

@Aditya Dash Is this the way to criticize a state and it's people using foul language? These words are an insult to the people of Odisha who have elected Naveen as their CM since last 20 years as they don't see any other eligible leader who is better than him and can take them to prosperity. I agree Naveen Patnaik could have done better but I think you have not seen or don't have any idea the state of affairs of Odisha before Naveen Patnaik i.e. before 2000. He has done good development of the state in last 20 years. And which political party in India does not have free bee schemes for poor in India? Most of the state CMs in India run freebee schemes for poor to build a good political base for themselves. Regarding gundagardi - Odisha is still far better than states like UP, MP or Haryana where people live in the fear of losing their lives to goons and dons. Odisha is a peaceful state and it's people are not agressive. Odisha has a rich culture of it's own. Be it the festivals, food etc.

Celebrities ko tourism deptt ka brand ambassador bna dete hai travelers like harish bali ko bnana chahiye
@@nargiskhan8879 Oh you poor soul 😂. I can't blame you for your lack of education. Being an Odia, I've to accept the fact that Odisha is one of the poor state in terms of GDP & per capita income. But it has a rich cultural history and heritage. Richness is recognised by people's mindset and behaviour. And Odisha is currently developing with a rapid pace. Poverty rate is declining whereas in WB it's increasing. And please don't mention politics here. I know how they run government in other states (which is clearly a joke itself). Odisha is being looted for 150 years by Britishers to enrich & renovate their East India company capital 'Calcutta' (Now Kolkata). Odisha was one of the biggest 'cash cow' for Britishers. They even forced Odias to learn Bengali. Many sacrificed to save our language. Know some facts before commenting. Get a life & do some research. Appreciation is the basic key to get respect, which you don't deserve. Learn to respect first. Lol😂

First is maritime trade activity in ancient time second is Biju patnaik and Indonesia freedom struggle. The tallest leader of Odisha state, India shri Biju patnaik played a vital role during the Indonesia freedom struggle. He was very close to sukarno and sukarnoputri. For his contribution he was awarded the highest civilian honour by Govt of indonesia. Indonesian embassy in New delhi has designed a room on the name of Biju patnaik.

I thoroughly enjoyed your complete Odisha series over the last few days. I have also seen your 2 day Shimla and 2 day Manali episodes as well as the Char Dham and some of your other Uttarkhand mountain regions, sorry cant remember the names. Ive been watching on my TV KZitem app so not had a chance to comment, and I thought I should make the effort at least now so therefore this note! I love your presentation which shows real trips which a middle class person can afford. I appreciate your attention to detail of small but important little things like actually showing a rough path, a narrow bridge, a slippery stone surface, the most ordinary of dhabas, the bathrooms, the affordable hotels and guest houses etc etc. This is of utmost help to any person planning such trips in real terms, not what the glossy ads show, nor the hi fi NatGeo/Discovery/BBC programmes which are mostly for high end travel. Don't you put on weight with the amount of food you end up trying ? hahaha Some of those chaats and sweets especially, look seriously tempting. Its so nice that you endeavour to chat with the locals of every place and learn about their customs. Even for those who arent particularly planning trips to some of your destinations, it is very interesting to see what we may or may not be missing. For example I doubt if I would go on the Char Dham tour but I certainly enjoyed your engaging travelogues. I was considering Odisha but never made any serious effort to do a trip, now after seeing your videos, I surely will sooner rather than later. Anyway I will surely be enjoying all your remaining videos which I havent yet seen even if I dont journey to all those places. Congratulations on your presentation that can give any professional production a good run for their money. In fact for normal non super rich people, your videos are much more interesting and useful. Looking forward to much more ! Thank you and God Bless.
