Ben, She should extend your curves from the top, along that the top. Then your bottom curve, where it meets the upper cutaways, extend them underneath and make that the bottom. Your curved lines on the top, taper at an angle to meet the bottom and then you'll have your side openings.

One general rule I have learnt in lutherie school is: If you want something more flexible than make it thinner. If you took away some material from the bottom at those "holey" erias, the binding would not be in the way so much anyway thus making a bigger sound hole. Just a thought.

A thought for the 2022 GGBO: I note that there are a lot of professional and semi-professional Guitar Builders competing this year, as well as Amateur Builders. I would like to suggest that there is a separate Category for each of these two different type of builders next year in order to level the playing field somewhat ... It was just a thought, having watched numerous of the fascinating videos on offer. Is there also a way to distinguish between those who are creating their own designs, as opposed to those who are replicating existing designs where the issues and processes are well-established ... ? I personally like to see the creativity and challenges that go into designing and building novel designs and approaches to guitar-building, although that is not to denigrate from the work of those who produce quality copies of existing designs. Good luck to all that are participating this year. I have been inspired by many of the videos of guitar-building that I have watched so far in the GGBO 2021 !

I've seen a number Acoustic Guitars with sound-holes integrated into the front/sides by this form of bending the sides of the face of the Guitar and they look great ... It's a lovely fluid and natural look. I have reservations about a strat-style horizontal pickup selector, both practically and aesthetically, but I would guess that Ben will 'have a plan' beyond my imagination most likely ! I am also currently concerned about neck-dive, considering the lightweight plans for the body ... But, we'll see how ignorant I am in due course ... I wondered about keeping the tail of the guitar solid to compensate for the lack of weight and resonance. So, I'll be watching this build, like the others, with fascination.

For the “body” may I suggest you look at falcate bracing for inspiration on shape. Also, the straight line from “horn” to “horn” looks odd. Everything else is an organic curve. May I suggest a gentle concave? Obviously since you’ve already bound it, it’s too late for this one, but if you are planning a production run. KZitem creates a sense of familiarity, and I apologize if my suggestions seem presumptuous.

You should have cut out the back at the same time as the front to match the wood and then accommodate the back's binding. Now you have to cut it and offset for the binding separately and hopefully match the centerlines.
