This has been PURE MELLIFLUOUS MUSIC for the soul!! Amidst infinitely sickening oceans of pretence and artifice comes this exquisitely pristine stream of water, and i cannot slake my thirst enough!! Such authenticity; such precious pearls of wisdom served with such honesty AND PANACHE (!!). The talk apart from being immensely engaging was in many ways HIGHLY AMD PROFOUNDLY EDUCATIONAL! This man is truly an evolved soul, who wears his mantle very light indeed...which makes it such s pleasure listening to him in rapt attention. Thankyou Smita ji for this scintillating brilliant conversation!! 🔥

Ms Smita, at least the word Spirituality has been mentioned in the thumbnail! So there is hope that one day, Spiritual guests will also appear on your Podcast. Spirituality is the real goal of every human being's earthly sojourn. But only the Yogis recall this while worldly people get lost in the labrynth. Let your latent Spirituality awaken!

Very Interesting session. He is saying actors need to be sensitive and open. So my question is what is the cost for actors to be that sensitive even off screen too. He mentioned something like the actor's inner strength will help retain him/her sanity, but she cut him off before he could explain.

A sober person would have said I was fed on mother's milk till he was 5/6. Had he to start talk with Breasts? Instead he used breast fed? In those days I have seen babies fed on mother's milk upto 5/6 .
He forgot that some sick perverts would find sexual contonation in the word 'breast fed'.

There is extremely excellent discussion with Adil Hussain, and he described nicely about the acting in theatre and as well as in cinema. Even he mentioned the name of Konstantin Stanislavski (Russian theatre practitioner) and Jerzy Grotowski (Polish theatre director) both of them are international stalwarts. But I was expecting of two names, they were also internationally great man - in the context of theatre, Bertolt Brecht (German theatre practitioner and playwright) and another one in the context of film - Satyajit Ray (Indian film director, screenwriter, music composer, writer of the Bengali literature, sketch maker and multi-talented person) Adil Hussain, not a single word discuss about them. Actually I would like to know what Adil thinks about them....

Only one thing disappointed me. Your biological determinism of women. Your one comment made you a "sexist, it showed your flawed understanding of gender and your unawareness regarding non-binary". You are on the right path and you have touched the surface but some advanced understanding is required regarding women and gender. Read Judith Butler, Sandra Harding, Donna Haraway. Don't use terms like generally speaking women are this, men are this.... Trust me when you read, you will look back and cringe. Emotional is not female, logical is not male. Stop using necessary and sufficient conditions to determine.
