Even though it’s a 318 car, the color makes it worth restoring imo. Very rare as you say. 100 made? Yeah I believe it. I bought a unique 71 Challenger R/T in 1985 for $1500. It was a rust bucket. A lot of people said “part it out”. I could see what it was when new, but didn’t really know what it was when I bought it. Turned out it was ordered as a dealer demonstrator, so it was loaded with options like cassette, 6 way, full power, wide grill surround molding, A/C and the rare M51 sunroof option! Lol 😅 To top it off it was a GY3 car with em white interior and accents. I gathered parts for two years to rebuild the body. In 1987 I took it to a serious restoration shop and they rebuilt the body for 2 1/2 years. Grave Yard Cars could have taken pointers from this shop which is still doing restorations. It was acid dipped. I kept it till 2017 and sold it to the Wellborn museum. It was in Mopar Coll. Guide magazine twice. Yeah, going to miss it forever. My point is you never know what might look like it’s not worth restoring one day, but might be in 5 years. Things change. The muscle Mopars are stupid expensive to restore and getting more $ to buy complete or as projects. Now 70s Dodge trucks are gaining in popularity and so are vans. I have a 73 B100 78 Lil Red and 04 Rumble Bee. I’m about done giving the van a custom paint job that’s turning out groovy! Lol 😅 The Lil Red is pretty much done. Restored the Rumble Bee 4 years ago. So I’m about done with projects at this point in my life.

Awesome! Got pics of the van? I have a b300 that I'm slowly working on, got it about 5 years ago for $1500 and now realizing how great of a deal I got now that vans are getting more popular again.

I just got a '69 Swinger a few weeks back...red, black interior, white stripe, 340 auto w/AC. Original powertrain gone, but a '68 RR 383 set up in it. I love these type of vehicles because you can use it as a template for awesome restomods

Very cool, I just bought a 70 duster fm3 moulin rouge, originally a slant 6 swapped over to a 340 high compression 275hp engine and A833 4speed. It needs a few things to get back on the road but is an awesome car. I love the color, ya just don’t see em especially a 340 and 4 speed

Honestly it is to be expected with any Plymouth or Dodge in the snowbelt. New floors, trunk, rear quarters, front quarters. Not complaining, but if it's been a daily driver it is normal.

I would say that it is pretty average as far as project condition. Maybe even slightly better.

The ralleye dash in 1970 was an option I believe. Just like everything else back then. If you wanted it, you could have checked it on the order sheet, when ordering the car.

The ralleye dash, was mainly ordered with the performance 1970-1971 340 Duster or in '71 the 340 Demon.
