Justin's the man and one of the few vocal coaches on youtube actually giving good information as opposed to youtube channels claiming they are so called vocal coaches when there is no proof and all they do is vocal coach reaction videos Justin's a true vocal coach and clearly knows his stuff. Never thought of formants in this way thanks for demystifying it I recommend doing a video on vowel modifications in the future as its very similar to formants as every vowel mod changes the formant slightly could be a good topic for a video.

I’ve always thought the best ‘untrained’ singers/ songwriters with beautiful voices like, say, Ryan Adams have better natural formants/ harmonics from the natural shape of their resonance spaces… there’s probably an emotional component too obviously.

And, can I ask a question? I have been searching for an answer to a problem that i am having lately. I feel dizzy when I sing. In my research i found that other new singers have the same problem. Because of this i even have to stop the singing exercise, and singing becomes something that is not fun. I exercise, I drink good amounts of water (my pee is almost transparent, so I am hidrated), the room temperature is good. I don't strain my neck area, popping my veins. I don't know what to do. What are the most common mistakes that singers do related to this dizzynes? Big thanks from Portugal. I love your spirit Justin.
