I just purchased a Deck the Halls layer cake to do a Christmas quilt. I’ll be using the Daisy and Grace 5 inch and 2.5 inch square templates. A very enjoyable video.

12:40 I think I heard you say that cutting out the fabric may not be your favorite part of EPP. ... Why not look into a die cutter or electronic cutter to cut your shapes instead of hand cutting. My public library has an electronic cutter we can use during library hours. You can even program it to fussy cut. 💖🌞🌵😷

That would be an awesome investment! Hopefully in the future. Thats really good that your library offer that service aswell

Re: blocking the scarf... Wait until you get done to see if it needs stretching. 💖🌞🌵😷

Yeah I think i'll wait to see how big it is when finished but was thinking of a cheats way to make it longer! lol xx

@@stitchwithrachel , if you're worried about using the smaller yarn, you can always crochet a 2cm boarder around it to make it 4 cm longer. Or, if your worried that you won't finish by Christmas, printout a picture of it and put it in a card. If she's a good friend, she'll understand and be happy for your intention. Or get her something a little and add the photo, but cheating is never good. ... Yes, you can stretch it during blocking, but it will go back first time she washes it and it might be stiff not comfy. Like I said, if she's your friend and is worthy of a handmade gift, she won't be mad that it's late. Sending lots of love 💖 from sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵. Take care of yourself and each other 😷.

Your big hexi flower that you are piecing without papers is what I am doing currently although I'm using smaller hexi size. I would love it you could show how you will fit one flower (or sew by hand i mean) onto the next hexi. I'm so scared and have no idea what to do with my so far 50 flowers. It has been liberating I must say to hand sew these without papers.
