Why do specialists say to me it’s not operable? Yet many people end up having surgery and well again.. so far every treatment I’ve tried all these years has not worked ..

darrend, it happens to me too, I guess because you are putting pressure in that area where those nerves are.

I have nerve pain all over my scalp and pain radiating down the right side of my neck and into my right shoulder. It’s been 15 months now since I fell and got a concussion and whiplash. I am in Canada. Who can help?

I never had a problem with my neck until after taking diazepam for 2 weeks for anxiety. Now my neck jolts and I feel scary electrical zaps shooting up into my head.

I believe these occipital muscles are strongly correlated with the fight or flight response , you developing the condition makes sense , I started having the issue after repeated panic attacks and Covid , also was taking Lorazepam

@@marlenemacapagal1979 I find heat on my neck helps. My daughter bought me a microwave able heat pack. Also massage either side of the neck helps too. Relax the jaw. I do all these things but still get the occasional jolt

After decades of waking every morning and feeling like I have a hang over I think I know what the problem is. Occipital neuralgia seems to describe what I’m feeling. It’s on my right side. I need to find someone that can help. I don’t want injections nor medication. Can you help me find someone where I live. San Antonio, tx.
